It's going on 2.5 yrs and the other day we took it on a 100 mile plus round trip. Wife complained about not liking her seat, while I had no complaints. I consider this a great short haul commuter vehicle. Its fun to drive and has enough built in luxury items to make each trip enjoyable. Except for a misaligned hood, and having the default climate control temp value changed to the current temp it has not been to the dealer or had any need for repair. I have rotated the tires once. About 6 months ago the radio refused to turn off, but after pulling the fuse and reinserting, it has not re-occurred. If you are serious about getting an e-Golf I would recommend going with at least a 2017 as it has the larger battery and thus greater range. I have the SE which does not include the DC fast charger, but since there are so few of them in the wild, it has never been a problem. BTW so far no change in driving range.
