they are s2 recaro's for sure,and mk1 have had factory recaro's fitted too!sportline mk1 cabby is the answer,btw mk1 is really nice,love the fitment of RF's.

like the seats. i have the same cloth on originals but these even better.

Hey man, great vid, love the car. Given that this is 2 years ago (exactly) you will probably have figured this out but if you haven't, that ghosting effect you see at some parts like 1:11, is from your shutter speed being higher than the frequency of the lights. To avoid this you just have to lower the shutter speed. Sweet =]

@bartli yes I realise there recaro's, but VW never put recaro's in the mk1 from factory. what car did you get them out of? is there anywhere with some picture of your interior? I really like it.

Nice vid, is the engine standard? What exhaust system is it running, kinda like the rasping sound it masks :-)

@lee00dub @bartli of course VW put recaro on mk1, all GTI got it from factory! even in Mexico in the GT version it have recaro... all GTI (mk1,mk2.mk3.mk4,mk5,mk6) have recaro seats just like GLI

No, the engine in this car is 1.8 KR with a free flow exhaust :)

@chipocle13 I can assure you the MK1 golf never got any recaro seats in the UK, the first golf to geth them were mk2's... they are not VW recaros in this vid anyways, they are ford recaro's...
