Couldn't agree with u more. I was considering trading my polo 6r for a 6r. Feel like u did that video for me bro. Thank you very much. Twas informative
My go to advice to anyone who wants to buy a car. Don't buy a car with a dsg gearbox, you'll cry fourty days and nights. That mechatronic has always had an issue after 60kms. You'll go shoulders deep into your pockets in repair/replacement costs. Just avoid cars with a dual clutch gearbox. You'll be much happier.
@@great1fromza234 they claim so but that's just sales people doing their job. don't go for anything with it, unless you tryna keep your kids out of colleg! and yea the warranty won't help with anything my brother, it will be expired when you experience these issues or you'll be told to go back home because they can't see an issue. trust me I know.
Bro, I own this car. With the current fuel prices, to fill up my tank, it comes it at 1150, you can expect to pay 1250 maximum. And that’s with our current highest fuel prices before the increase kicks in.
Just to add, bro this cars a 55l tank max, 45l with a 10l reserve, so for this guy to be saying 1600 to fill up his tank, he must be paying R29.09 a litre for fuel? 😂
@@bayandamokoena4882 none so far man, the only problem I’ve experienced is the waterpump/thermostat housing failing quite often due to it being made from plastic rather than cast aluminium. Also, if you keep the car stock, the gear box will last, however if you play with it, you’re messing with the torque load and that’s where failures occur
The estimate to fill up seems incorrect, my 2018 AW GTI costs R800 to fill up today but from Wednesday 1st June ( if petrol goes up by R3.50) will cost R1000-00 to fill a 40L tank.
You AW guys are the lucky ones, you get the wet clutch plus a smaller tank... but.. wait for it................ drum roll.............. for TWICE the price! Jesus!
Beautiful car. Scares me though cz it looks new and he has already replaced more than 2 things and still has an arror msg although its a minor. One would expect to replace things like that after 150k kms.
To be honest your job is good man keep it up... So I want to buy a car and mostly i like a hothatchs like; polo gti 1.8L or 2.0L, golf R, golf gti 2.0L or clubsport or the new face-lift one which means 7.5, also Mercedes a45 amg and lastly a audi s3 quattro.. I see some are talking about issues of this cars. So guys pls i need some help which one is better than another in this list i think MATE you have more experience with this car .. thank you guys
I have the 2020 AW Polo GTI . The newer GTIs have the 6 speed wet clutch DSGs because the previous GTI. The 6c had the 7 speed DSGs which were dry clutch models. These DSGs had problems, they overheat because it's dry clutch. The 7 speed from the Golf GTI is wet clutch so it doesn't have this problem. The dry clutch is used in all tsi models and the 6c GTI. It's the main problem with this Era GTI. They rated for lower power unlike the wet clutch variants. Otherwise this 6C is a really great hothatch
No as long as you not tune it, it can handle not more than the stock 250nm max , the manuel have stock 320nm and you can tune it verry easy without any problems, its faster and way more of fun.
I have a 2016 Polo 1.2 TSI Highline and I also had that error move to position P. Had to take a pic of the error message because nothing showed up on the car's logs when they plugged it in. thankfully it wasn't anything mechanical that needed to be replaced. I believe it was a micro processor of sorts. Problem solved after that and it was about a year ago since I last saw that message
I had this conversation with him, coz my golf has 50l tank and now it fills at R1100, but also I know people who fill up Polo vivos R1500 and that’s also got a 45l tank
@@charltontitus I’m not denying what you’re saying…because I had this conversation with him but off camera, I asked him how come he pays more than my Golf when his tank is smaller.
