im pretty sure its not just the silencer, im 90% sure they also remove the catalysers and replace them with less restricting racing cats, and they also probably have straight pipes to make the air flow more direct, but all of that popping as you said is definitely from the anti-lag

They need to sort out that understeer if they want to be competitive. It doesn't quite seem to be as quick on the turn in as the current crop of WRC cars. Looks and sounds great though!

@hod171 It's carlos sainz, but i have agree, he is too old for racing but i hope he is just developing that car for younger drivers.

They are still testing and plenty of time to fix problems, i believe they can make competitive car, not sure how reliable it might be.
