The current band is nice but it will never be satisfying. Most of us want Randy, Chris and Blackie on bass. It’s a long shot … but yet again, three years ago WASP had no US presence and is now poised for a second successful US tour, so who knows?

That you'd prefer Blackie to talk about the likes of a heroin junkie who was in the band long enough for a cup of coffee over hearing him talk about the people who have been current band members for years and years gives me an idea of how it would be really easy for Blackie to resent some of his fanbase. Familiarity breeds contempt.

W.A.S.P has released 10 progressive albums since 1989. It requires different musicians with different approaches since the albums are not just 80s blues.

That is one thing I love about Blackie tho. He is probably about as honest and real you can get with a interview. He does not give like the "Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons" same type of horseshit in interviews. You know, The same political non answer shit that they would always do. Blackie has a habit of just thinking of things during a interview that probably he should not had said yet. So, It ends up biting him in the ass.. LOL

from Blackie "My mother was from Houston originally and there was a guy there who had that first name Blackie and apparently he was some sort of local gang member. My mom had worked for the USO during the second world war and she was a professional dancer. She would do these shows and they would go around to service clubs. And this guy walked in one night and got into an argument with one of the sailors," says Lawless. "He took a switchblade and he stuck it in the guy in his stomach and walked around the guy with the blade in him, so he did a circle around his body. And I heard that story, and it left a lasting impression," he explains. "So with the color of the hair and all, it just stuck. It's been with me ever since." as for Lawless - during the '70s there was a guy who played for the Dallas Cowboys who was an all-pro center named Burton Lawless. Yeah. He’s a great BSer. I was at the first 2 shows of the last US tour and there was no smell of cotton candy or hot dogs 😂

The lead vocals on most of the songs sounded exactly like they did on the records which was almost 40 years ago. Hmmm…….

He didn't ducked up anything or anyone. He always remembers them as his friends and shares a nice or funny story remembering them. WASP isn't just the 3,4 albums in the 80s there has been more progressive sound over the years that requires different mindset, musicians etc...
