@@greggardner5015it’s kinda a L it’s almost like admitting they couldn’t prosecute to the fullest so they give a deal just so they can say they did something, same thing happened w drakeo the ruler
The defendants can’t take a plea unless it’s offered by the state. They are accepting these pleas as guilty which is a W for the state. He pleas guilty to the RICO charge. The state describes what involvement they had as a part of the rico. His lawyer denies his involvement in some of the accused crimes, but he still plead guilty to it. These are not even Alford pleas. On paper they are saying they are guilty for what they are accused of. All their lawyers did was put their “stance” on record in case his claims can be used in appeal process. With the defendants dropping out, if they have the jury back, what do they think about that?
How was it weird they have grown to know their defendants and obviously they really take their jobs seriously because they’re passionate about people having a fair shot. It only makes sense. They would be a little emotional now that it’s coming to an end. They grown a bond.
I live in ga. For the average person they’re not doing all this and they’ll ship your ass to prison in a heartbeat. This is a one time thing. Don’t let Georgia justice system fool you based on this trial
@@Ceo_cencheither way they will win on appeal if he is convicted… case had been a mess from the start and it doesn’t matter that this trial is super long. Mistakes are mistakes and the prosecution continues to fail and cause a motion for mistrial
Man, the fact that they are getting out of this wothout 25 - life is a complete blessing. I would be completely happy with 7 years 4 years served and 20 years probation. Thats better than 25 - life. They better take this opportunity and turn their life around. I hope they realize how unusual and how much of an opportunity this is especially for a black man to come out of a RICO charge with favorable consequence.
He’s already done a couple years in his 30s. Even if they dropped all charges he’s done a bunch of time already in the prime years of his career and life. If these charges get dropped the YSL vs state of Georgia civil suit will cost the city 10s if not a 100 million dollars at the end of it. Fanni fucked up huge and at this point they’re just trying to avoid a civil suit from thug
13 years of probation is crazy. If it's anything like NYC, your P.O. will have you violated in a month. Just to send you back. It's all a business. Thug should take it to trial. their main witness, Woody, has already done the damage.
I was on 5 years probation the judge told me to go down to the probation office and when I walked in the mf didn’t even look at me and told me the amount I would be paying him monthly and I gave him the full amount of my entire probation and when he looked at it he looked at me and was confused he said well you will need to do drug testing so i handed him a folder of my drug treatment certificate with 9 months of testing with NA sign offs and my community service he was blown away he said well I guess you don’t have to do shit besides stay out of trouble I was post to be on supervised probation but I was given unsupervised and got the letter from the probation officer and gave it to my lawyer to take care of I had a top attorney in my state and I was charged for drug trafficking but got it down to simple possession 1st offense so I always tell people to just get it out the way early when you make bail and save up to pay it all off and get treatments and go to AA or NA and go volunteer at a shelter so when u go in front of the judge they will look at you in a better light than when you’re not prepared I was told when I got in the game to have a lawyer on stand by and have money for the court so when it happens you’re ready for it but I got out and now I’m in the military
Young Thug going to be on paper for 15 years? Law enforcement going to be drooling just waiting for him to slip up so they can make him serve that time in prison...
No…. What’s happening is they are accepting plea deals and those who took plea deals have no choice but to testify against the rest of the defendants if asked to. Ya’ll really think the state of Georgia is going to let this thing slide ? Everyone who was involved with YSL is getting time….
It's definitely a win for the State. They got their RICO convictions, and most importantly, they broke up the crew because felons aren't able to hang together. The brother didn't make it 6 months, so the chance of these guys making it are slim to none... probation is a set-up. The whole side of the defense looks defeated and worn out.
What I love about AK is he gone roast who ever all day.. But it is sad that these rappers and entertainers pain and agony is funny and jokes for our entertainment.. This world fucked up..
Suuuper weird. Rappers orchestrating hits and the whole world is screaming free em because they pass out a couple of coats and Christmas presents. What about the kids without dads, moms who lost their sons due to Durk and thug putting money on their heads like they didn’t matter?
They keep dragging this case out Thug gonna have time served by the time this is done and over with. Dude took the Plea deal so he wouldnt have to do life for murder.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 yup that’s pretty much how they gotmounk tounk I love these attorneys that are working in this case they give me hope because they really do fight thegood fight
