This video was made to help anybody getting into this game, as soon as you reach level 50 you're kind of bombarded with a ton of different item rarities, so I hope this guide to items for Warhammer 40k Inquisitor Martyr can help!

The HUGE question I have is on items why are there stats that the box is lit up and others that are not? what does the lit and non-lit mean?

Thats something I found out after making this video, I wish I included it The unlit squares are secondary enchantments & the lit squares are primary enchantments. Yeah I would imagine many people were confused by this. It made me think the non-highlighted we inactive or something. And it actually took longer than I thought to find the answer xD

@@MatHEWStorm Well this just confirms that I've been wasting far too many crafting resources on trying to roll Crit Chance in an enchantment slot that will only roll Secondary enchants. I was starting to question if the slot mattered and now I know, thanks!

with white you lose the fight with blue, your gear is poo with green you can not win with brown you go to town with red - xenos are dead the rest? - alpha early access test....

Honestly, the best part of this game is the controller aspect, im so glad to be able to chill in a comfy couch and just zone out killing wave of HERETICS on a void crusade.

bro I bought a ps5 controller and was getting mad at myself for having no use for it then I remembered this game had controller support. Honestly the game plays so much better on controller

@@BIGMACBURGER for w.e reason the turning of the camera on mouse and keyboard is laggy and shit and the abilities seem to lock better on controller.

Fun fact: This isn't the first time Neocore have used the stat unlock feature, that is used on the Ancient Relic rarity loot. In the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2, you could buy a ring call, "Ring of Guidance". The ring itself was trash, but if you killed X enemies with it equipped, a new clue was revealed as a stat. If you managed to solve the puzzle, you got access to a farmable chest, that had a very high chance of dropping premium loot. Thanks for the video, very informative.

Marvel Heroes also had Artefacts with enchantments unlocked after killing/inflicting dmg ect.

Thanks for your video @Smattymattty, I wish I found your video sooner! I like playing rpgs games in which you can play summon builds (grim dawn, diablo 3, last epoch, wolcen). The W40K Tech Adept is one of them! What I like with this game is that you do not have to use a unique item or grind/farm to find a specific set. The attributes can be found on a multiple of items or you can change it (except specific kinds of relics). That 's means you can more easily find the attribute you want. The main issue with the game IMO, is the incomplete documentation about important features of the game. For example, how items with specific enchantment, psalm-code doctrine and state can really improve your class/build! Knowing these infos made a huge difference with a +8 difficulty void crusade. It will be a painful or a fun experience. You are right about the morality relics, they are rarely useful and often they get salvaged. ;-) But, sometimes with the right combination of psalm, doctrines/items, they can be very powerful. 🙂

I found a deamon forged shotgun that had a 25% chance to spawn 3 nurglings on a kill, that thing was beast.

Wow thanks for clearing some stuff up but man all the stuff you mentioned is a lot to digest and there is a ton of stuff confusing on this game you didn't mention but I subbed and just really happy I came across someone that's currently posting videos on this game bc everyone else had older videos and this game looked so different so the videos weren't much help for me. Thanks I will definitely check more of your videos bc I'm sure some will explain some of the many other things I'm still trying to get a grip on.

I enjoyed the guide, it is nicely organized and has good flow. Maybe you could make progression guide for fresh season characters in the future. What to focus first, when to start crusades. When to start socketing items, like should they be 90lvl only? Should we focus on campaings?

I'm glad to hear you liked it! I would love to make a guide for starting in seasons, right now I want to try to get each class into endgame so I can have as much experience with the season as I can before I start telling other people what they should do. I hope to get it out before the season releases on console. Personally, i started crusades right when I hit level 50 and started socketing good items I'm wearing around level 65, but I'm not yet sure if that's the best way to go

socket them even at 45-50, the sooner the better you will speed up 200-300% in killing and levelling

Hi, thanks for the guide, really good! I'm still confused about the "quality" aspect of gearing in the game, when j compare items and it says "+15 quality compared to equipped items" what does that mean? I'm use to it meaning the item is an upgrade, but that doesn't always seem to be the case?

Its an arbitrary number that can help in the early parts of the game, but for endgame its best to use your brain and maybe some testing to figure out what's best, the quality doesn't take into account a lot of the fancy things archeotech relics give you

@@MatHEWStorm thanks - I thought it might be something like that, sort of like in Diablo 3 where it doesn't account for the legendary power when calculating whether an item will make your character stronger - higher numbers doesn't always equal improvements in performance? 😊 Thanks for the reply 👍🏼

Can there be a case where you can lock yourself from reaching the max morality? I ask because I was going radical choices with my Tech Priest but I put one choice into Purity am I fudged and locked out from ever reaching the 300 in Radical because i put one choice in Purity?

About to give up on this game. Just to much stuff and very confusing menus that I have no idea how to navigate. maybe if I was not playing on console it would be easier. Don't know because can't get PC. Love combat and world, but having no Ifb what I am doing is to frustrating. Good video however.

Thanks for this video - super helpful! I am at lvl 55 and have some questions: 1) I have the Prophecy DLC and started one of the void crusades. But I am confused by references to Inferno Season. Am I automatically playing the current season? 2) What does increasing the integrity of an item do? I cannot find it anywhere in the docs. 3) Where to find Relics? Random missions? Void crusade? Prophecy missions? Thanks!

Hey! I believe thered be a flame icon next to your character name if you're in the inferno season, and a new menu option in your ship for all the challenges. If you haven't seen it, you're probably not jn the season, especially if you've just started. I believe the integrity increases the amount of times the item can be modified through the crafting system? And you can find relics all over the place, the void crusades and intels probably have the highest drop rates, after level 50 you'll see a lot more

I been playing Inquisitor since the Alpha, put 1000s of hours into Martyr/Prophecy.... Id like to pick this up and start playing again, but its just still the content already in the game being molded, moved around and recycled.... Theres nothing fresh.

You might have to move around those sliders, I think if "Grime" is all the way up it will mute out any colors

Just bought from sale. I thought I bought one game with dlc's but there are two games in steam library. Which one I begin? Why are they identical in size? Send help! :D

I dont know why they do it like that, its really weird. Prophecy is the full game, except with the new class, so you should download that and ignore the other game. the only thing you'll miss out on is the achievements. I have no idea why neocore does it this way, it's really dumb :/
