Wahl presents tips and tricks for caring for and getting the most out of your Wahl ‘5 in 1’ blades that are used on the Wahl Arco, Bravura, Chromado, Figura and Motion animal grooming clippers.
Great, quick tutorial. I have the Bravura Lithium for our cats. Its fast, smooth, much more quiet than other clippers and just goes through even the most dense mats like butter. I'm here because I've learned the importance of oiling and cleaning with every use and these are keepers and sooo worth the money. It's less stress on us and our fur babies. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you!! I was about to figure out what kind of screws were on it cause i can’t clean underneath the blade but this helped me a lot! All i need is a pipe cleaner!! 😂
I used a pipe cleaner on mine and it caused them to go out of alignment and I had to hunt down another video to show me how to align them so they would cut correctly again. I hope you had better luck than I had.
@@sarahmahala7752 I actually just use tooth brushes, blade wash, and the velocity dryer to clean them. It blows out the gunk. I hold the blade in a towel though and be careful not to blow it out of your hand.
Remove the entire blade assembly, push on the guides that the rotary arm fits into. That separates the bottom and top blades a tiny bit that allow an index card to be pushed through between them and/or a pipe cleaner. Wahl instructions say this as well as Wahl having videos on YT that show you this.
@@sarahmahala7752 I fyou would have pressed on the rotary arm holder once the blade assembly was removed, you would hot have forced them our of alignment. Read the instructions.
How does the blade pop off? Video makes it look easy but I feel like I’m going to break the clipper trying to pop off the blade. What technique am I missing ?
At 0:17, it reads "push down to open up..." Push down where? My clippers aren't working like they did when new, even after cleaning and oiling. In my manual, there's no mention of putting an index card or pipecleaner between the blades. Thanks!
I already know how to do what this video shows. What I want to know is how to take the clipper BLADES apart to clean between them and put them back together and making sure the teeth of the blades are correctly aligned so they cut right when I trim my dog. I have the 5 in 1 clipper blade for a Wahl Bravura pet clipper. I cannot find out how to take them apart, clean and realigned so they cut my dogs hair correctly and function as they should. Also, my clipper head does not have screws in them so I can't just take screws out, clean them and put them back together. They have a very small star (?) shaped thing that takes a special tool to get them apart. The star shaped things that keep the blades together looks like it might take a small tool with six points on the edge of the tool. I would LOVE HELP if anyone knows how to take apart this type of clipper head. This video is useless in helping me with what I need.
