Nice functionality because with my Suunto ambit 3 I am struggling to get the files some time. Direct folder access should be a must have for all GPS devices. I might buy a Wahoo soon, any discount Lama price?! ;)

Shane has Strava made it any easier to transferring by turn yet if not which app do you find the easiest to use.. I know you have been in Europe this year hopefully you will have used you bolt I steady of them awefull Garmin things thanks I'm going to Majorca next week so I was going to down load some maps just in case I get lost lol

Hi Shane, Do you happen to know if its possible to transfer rides (exports) from one head unit to another head unit? From what I can gather, exports is where the rides are stored.

Is it possible to send a FIT from DropBox (or another app) to the Wahoo device? If I create one on an external site it can't be uploaded to Training Peaks, so just wondering if there is a way to send it to the device. Many thanks.

Shane, do you know if you can manually add a segment fit file to Wahoo's via USB? I'm working on a feature in Sauce for Strava that will let you generate segment FIT files from any activity but I'm not sure how to import these raw files into a Wahoo yet.

Hi, I just recently got a wahoo bolt and can’t seem to load routes... i followed your video on loading gpx files but after clicking on “copy in Elemnt”, the app does say “syncing” but the route never actually appears in the app. Your videos have been super helpful! Thanks🙏🏽

Is it possible to download an activity from TP via the usb on to the head unit.

Had massive probs on the weekend trying to get workouts from TP to my Elemnt. Deleting the Elemnt App and reinstalling sorted it, but I don’t understand as the Elemnt can sync to TP via Wifi without the App? Anyway besides that I cannot see how to add workouts as a fit file to the Elemnt ie. I want to create workouts in TP and export a fit file from TP and add it to “Planned workouts” on the Elemnt so the workouts are always available there, not just synced on a daily basis from TP. It should be the reverse of what you’re doing in this vid, but it isn’t. Thoughts/workaround?

If you are wanting to transfer all data (mainly odometer) from element bolt to roam, will this process accomplish that?

My friend sends me an email with a strava link in it (a strava route or activity). On my iphone there seems to be no way I can copy and paste this link and use it on my Bolt for my next ride? Any help is higly appreciated.

I knew one of these quick tech tips would come in handy for me one day! They normally don't apply because I don't use zwift. Any idea why my bolt won't plug and play on Windows 10? I plug it in and nothing happens, and it doesn't show up under My Computer.

My elemnt isn't showing up on my computer when I plug it in and yes the elemnt is powered on. The computer makes that noise when you connect a external device but doesn't register it in windows explorer. Any ideas?

Hi SHane, I use Garmin watch, Training Peaks and Elemnt and have an issue with duplicates. I primarily use my Garmin watch for recording and uploading etc. However I use the Elemnt as head unit while riding, and for structured trainer workouts for wet Melbourne days which I dowload from TP. The issue is when I sync TP to Elemnt for workout, it also syncs history and causes duplicates in TP (and Strava) for the rides on Elelmnt that have already been uploaded via my Garmin watch. Is there any way to avoid this? I cant see how to delete rides off the Elemnt itself to prevent this happening? THanks Damian

Hi Shane, is there a way to recover a FIT deleted file? My ride history got deleted from my Elemnt app, but didn't realize it would also delete from my wahoo elmnt roam. I'd appreciate any help with this. Cheers!

Hello! How to import .fit files to Wahoo Fitness App from Dropbox? Traditional methods don't work. I get an invalid format error, but after changing the format to the correct format my application crashes. Please help!

Just a side note I found out, the hard way, If you have been running your Wahoo with apple IOS then you go to Android, the Wahoo does not play nicely with your previous config settings. Save everything to another system app (strava), then select “factory setting” and start as new. If you don’t you will have all sorts of problems with it not connecting properly.

My windows doesn't register my roam being plugged in. It's turned on! No idea why

BOLT Suxs. First time battery died during ride, and it cant recover itself properly, created 2 corrupted fit files, and wont upload to Strava. Bolt is WAY overhyped. Android app is so basic, primitive. "Upgrading" from Garmin 520, far from impressed.
