I'll stick with this games planes as it doesn't feel like the plane wants to stick to rails. Not to mention more planes will be added as more factions join the war so it will of course get better. Edit: Also it's called vehicle warfare because there are a bunch of vehicles....doesn't just apply to planes you know? We have multiple tanks, multiple bikes, multiple planes, multiple trucks, no even including the special vehicles and then future vehicles that come with factions....what vehicles does CoD have active in combat? Aside from rail guided tanks.

Except that planes in cod are just as boring as World of Warplanes. In Battlefield there are also multi-crew planes, and you can actually land and take off with airplanes, unlike CoD where you just basically teleport into one. And why would you want 7 different planes ? I doubt that countries use 7 different planes at once, and as long as you have the main types (Bomber, attack, ...)

@@ChristopherMundahl Sort of? Sometimes you'll find yourself doing terrible damage on perpendicular hits and top armor while others you might be doing crazy damage to heavily angled front armor. But otherwise they've actually had a similar system in since at least BF4, though the difference wasn't quite so severe. They even added hit deflection in BF1.

I was running up a hill and then suddenly one of those big bombers flew overhead, very close to the top of the hill and engulfed in flames, the roar of the plane and fire sounded so good. Then it crashed in a field a ways behind me in a big explosion. The visuals and sound design of these things are some damn good.

During breakthrough someone had the balls to strafe the bridge head on by flying inside it and mowed a bunch of us down.

I like that tanks firing and explosions near players make their screen blur and shake a bit, really emphasizes the power of those things.

Ironic that you point out the "MG15" stuff as a detail. Whilst it's true that they have texture detail on the guns which get influenced by the environment, but the fact of the matter is that DICE didn't even put in a MG15 in the planes to begin with. You can clearly see it's an MG34 based on the reciever and the rear sight. At least it does have the heavy AA barrel on the MG34 model which would be correct for on pintel mounted MG's on tank turrets, but obviously have no place in a plane. DICE is just going the lazy route here and decided to use the MG34 turret model to be a substituted to the MG15, either that or then didn't even know there was a difference between the 2 firearms to begin with.

True for guns, but I think explosions have had that since BF3 at least, unless it was just weird lag lol. I recall seeing distant explosions then hearing them shortly after.

Heqticz RDR2 is MASSIVELY overhyped. This is why I’m beginning to dislike/not trust the gaming community. People are very, VERY sheepish and quick to follow other people’s opinions. RDR2 Campaign(- the boring fucking prolouge) = brilliant. But the online mode is absolutely fucking atrocious. I traded that in yday for battlefield and have no regrets as of yet. The intro to this game is fucking amazing and as per I feel Dice do such a good job with immersing you in battles where you feel you shape the outcome of the game in multiplayer.

@@chasem3117 cause grenates dont explode by shooting on them, the hole you pierce into them with the projectile is preventing a detonation, even if it ignites by mirracle, it will just burn off (no compression, no exlosion) if we wanted a game so far from reality we would buy, dunno, super mario. (ok lets forget for a moment parachutes opening from 1 story buldings) and cause its again a "pro player" thing which will piss me off.
