Watched this musical in Tokyo. It was awesome! Mitsuki Takahata is one of the greatest artist and actor in Japan. Her act is really good in her movies and TV programs.

What I've noticed about the Japanese versus the Korean version of American musicals is that the Japanese style of singing is decent and lack emotion. The technique is more of a PowerPoint presentation. The Korean versions have definitely improved to the point that many of the performers are Broadway quality - revealing plenty of energy and emotions - selling the song versus presenting the song. Hopefully, the Japanese theatre actors will improve on this technique.
@@jonathanjmassey it really isn't, they simply asked for you to sing all of the musical in Japanese better than her. If it's so horrid you go do it if she can't hit one correct note and they let her perform it that way then maybe your heads just not screwed in correctly cause even I wouldn't let someone who isn't ready to perform on stage.
