This is a bit of a strange one because I wasn't really feeling it at the weekend when I was riding the trails (although have to admit having headache for most of the day didn't help). Watching the footage was more enjoyable than it felt like riding them and now think I should go back sometime which after the ride thought it would be my first and last visit 🤷♂️
These trails flow very well with some gaps, doubles and drops thrown in for good measure and riding here a few times would stand you in good stead for tackling most of the stuff other than the bottom section of the jump line which is way beyond me. Kudos to the trail builders, the tracks flow so well 🤘
We have recently had a deluge of rain, like daily as most cyclist will know and to my great surprise the trails were in very good nick possibly due to the sea breeze that was apparent. I had shoes and winter boots in the car and went for the boots which with hindsight was the wrong call
I would suggest this is not a venue to ride for a full day which is what I usually do but great for a few hours of fun and imagine a bit of sessioning will increase the speed no end
