thanks for checking out my truck! there was quite a few small stuff i forgot to mention. if youd like to check out the full build list and build thread. the link to it is www.toyota-4ru...
I like your set up what do you think about a rooftop tent I have a 2006 4Runner 4x4 love it I’m currently wanting to fix it up more Currently has 6” body lift and running on 33”
Thank you for taking the time to make the video! Got some great inspiration for my 3rd gen I just got. I was drinking a White Claw watching the the video, saw that one by the ARB fridge 🍻🍻🍻😂
What year 4Runner headlights are you using and did they bolt right on? I also have a 96 and have been wanting the clear lights. Also, where did you buy them because I’m having a hard time finding them. Thanks man and nice rig!
holy autism cuts, break the shoot down into segments so if you fuck up a thing up and recognize while shooting, you can just reshoot the segment, I literally think this 1 - 45 minute shot chopped up because parts of it werent what you were thinking
this is a video of me having some fun, I didn't intent this to be a manufacturing production video.. I could've easily "reshot" any video that could've been better. Does a video of a 4runner with 280,000 miles really need to be that professional?
they are worth the money but if i were to do it again id get the shorter ones not the longer ones. the longer ones are for 35s. i have quite a bit of up travel available if it werent because of the stops. i like them though and worth the money; very smooth
Your 4runner looks really smooth on the highway.. I have a 2001 I’ve pretty much replaced everything in the front end besides the steering rack and the LCA bushings, she also has ome 906rear/881front springs with the bilstein 5100. Although the suspension upgrade has helped tremendously with the ride, it’s still not %100. I also have a pulsating brake issue, but I replaced the front brakes with the tundra brake upgrade 231mm and I still experience the pulsating. What would you recommend? Do the durobumps make a difference on the highway or mainly off-road?
Are you sure it’s ONLY after applying brakes? It’s very well possible and super common to have your tires “cup” creating both a tire noise and/or a vibration/pulse. This is to do an insufficient allignment and improper tire rotations
chad morrison the tires are practically brand new due to out of shape tires but I’ve always had the tires rotated and balanced. I also redid the brakes AGAIN after I got the new bfgs on. Is your 4runner as smooth as it looks on the highway? And is it due to the new steering rack, LCA, and durobumps?
@slickkapone I think you just figured out my problem. I have 285/70/17 BFG Ko2s but they’re load range E. If I were to get the same size tire in load range C, you think it would make that much of a difference?
Does your 906 Springs sags on the rear with just the drawers and some items inside? I can’t really tell exactly from the video. Cause I’m about to install an 881 and 906 on my 96’ i only have a drawer on the back and a craftsman toolbox. I was wondering cause if it’s gonna sag with a little bit of constant load, i might as well get the heavier duty spring.
