Excellent walk. It’s been quite a few years since my husband and myself and our dog Holly, used to go up the Dunstable Downs, or Up the Downs, as we called it, which usually made people grin, when we called it that. So this walk was a blast from the past. It looks like they have smartened up the Tree Cathedral. And yes we do remember Dell Farm. Both our boys spent a week there. One may not remember, but the donkey you spoke about Gavin, actually bit him on the knee instead of biting into the offered apple. 😁. It didn’t hurt too much. I really love seeing the flowers and views you film. And your history stories are really informative. Well done. And need I say it. More please. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Grew up in Dunstable whipsnade zoo brilliant . I now live in Australia. Can’t wait to get back and bring my grandchildren. Will definitely do the walk. Thanks for bringing back some great memories 👍

Great video, and nice to see the route between Whipsnade and Dunstable Downs. I'm quite a frequent walker in my area, but actually have not done this specific route yet, so is useful to know what to look out for when I get around to walking this part. I'm looking to add this part to a larger 18-20 mile circular walk I've already done from Houghton Regis, down through Caddington to Pepperstock, through Markyate and Kensworth, over to Dunstable Downs, Totternhoe, and Sewell, then back to Houghton. Including Whipsnade into this route would be a great addition!

That is excellent, Good on you mate. 👍👍👍 the longest I have done was 13 miles with Andy, he recently walked to Barton Springs and back, he often gets to that sort of mileage’s. Longer legs 😊 I did Scarfel and Snowdon two - three years back, tough walking for me, did not think of filming back then.. So that’s a future walk maybe. Not done any walking in Pepperstock or Caddington so far so will pop it onto my bucket list. Thanks for that.
