The Nature around you is absolutely beautiful. I grew up in the country here in the US. Don't appreciate it till it's gone or you move away. Always returning to it is bittersweet. Thanks for sharing.
We’ve lost quite a lot of countryside in France in general due to industrial level farming - uprooting hedges and so on - but we’re relatively protected here thank goodness xxx

Thanks Patricia, Tamsin filmed her dog walk last night so I can use bits of it as inspiration for upcoming nature videos - we can‘t depend on the weather the way we used to be able to do and often can‘t go out to collect specimens.

Yes, we‘re lucky here to be situated on the edge of some protected areas where building is not allowed and traffic is very low. We‘re actually in a “dark sky“ zone where light pollution is almost nil - very unusual anywhere in the world especially Europe.
@@fromthegarden How wonderful. It’s nice to know dark sky places are still cherished. I’m in the states, not far from the New Hampshire sea coast. Light pollution from rampant development has left only the brightest stars visible. So sad. Thank you again for sharing your world.
