@@sd5458 I switched to tailgate pad when I got rid of mine. Nothing was wrong with it, just didn’t want to keep it on hand and have it taking up space 😊 it really is a great rack for the price at the time…not sure if it’s more expensive now,probably right?
@@MASHLEY69 Thanks! I actually did the opposite, my bike at 56lbs was becoming a chore to load either tailgate or upright in the bed. Got this rack at $89 and I am not sure why I didn't get something sooner! Game changer
the spring loaded plastic clips on the hook arms are the weak point of this bike rack. If I owned this rack I would bungee the hook arm to the wheel trays for extra downward force.
@@aaronsanchez2260 still using it. No issues. Stays on my truck virtually everyday. The only time I’ve taken it off is if I’m not going to be riding which is almost never! 100% would recommend!
