Walrus Audio ACS1 With Pedals. How Overdrive and Distortion pedals interact with the ACS1 V2: Boss DS-1 Distortion, Wampler Black '65, Wampler Tumnus Deluxe, TC Electronic Cinders Boss Blues Driver clone, Electro-Harmonix Big Muff, Coron DC-807 Distortion, Nobels ODR-Mini, Behringer TO800 Vintage Tube Screamer.
Microphone settings were always on the stock front Shure SM57 mode. The video should illustrate the amp and cab settings as per ACS1 V2 stock (Left toggle: Fender Deluxe Reverb + Jensen, Middle toggle: Marshall Bluesbreaker JTM50 + G12M Greenback, Right toggle: Vox AC30TB + Blueback Alnico). The cabinet simulations were created by Tone Factor. Firmware:
V2.0. (last update before making this video November 2023).
Guitars used: Fender USA Jeff Beck Stratocaster, Fender USA Telecaster, Gibson Les Paul Classic, Squier Hank Marvin Japanese Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul Studio. Listen for various volume and tone pot changes; it's not always on 10...or 11...
Signal Chain:
1. TC ELECTRONIC Bona Fide Buffer
2. Then the overdrive/distortion on test.
3. Walrus Audio ACS1
4. Walrus Audio Line Driver (stereo version)
5. Field recorder at 16bit 48hz.
No EQ on post, just a little volume balancing to peak audio at between -3 and -4db.
Main guitar cables used: 6ft Mogami, Mogami patch leads. XLR: Sommer cable with Neutrik XLR M/F.
