Unfortunately, they will run out of decades soon, as this seems to be the shows concept. But i would love an entire season of the first or second episodes
Wanda seems to be in control. This could be a hint that Wanda’s having one of her infamous breakdowns. Which means, if my knowledge of comics are correct, shit’s gonna get bad.
Based on all the easter eggs I theorize someone is egging her on. Which of that's the comic road we're headed on it will get bad but there will be mutants hope hope. Can't wait for three! Or I can, everyone needs to get there. I don't want to be ahead. And I wait till cult tv sofa to do the easter eggs from screen rant as he puts up facts. Debating on the liam's and soramiyano as there are serious comic fans there 🤔.
A couple of things I thought of watching your first two reactions: the 'window' when the show ends is a hexagon, which is the same shape as a honeycomb. That would tie in with the beekeeper as well, whoever he is. Also, when Wanda says 'the devil is in the details', Agnes replies 'that's not the only place he is'. Also, her pet rabbit is named Scratchy. One of the devil's nicknames is Old Scratch. A lot of people are theorizing that Mephisto (Marvel's 'devil') is involved somehow.
The crowd: "What's in the box? What's in the box? What's in the box?" Me doing an impression of Brad Pitt: "No what's in the boooox?! What's in the fucking box?!"
@@barbarabaker1457 not too positive on that actually. Was pretty into comics in the 80’s/early 90’s, but only dabbled since then(I have a good memory, so I sometimes seem more knowledgeable then I am to be honest). Was making a joke about Gwyneth Paltrow playing both Pepper Potts in the MCU and Brad Pitts wife in “Se7en”.
The few complaints I've read, which I try to avoid, mostly involve what I consider impatience. They were expecting instant gratification rather than a surreal, but well crafted, narrative. In my opinion. I'm loving every second of it. Can't wait for the reaction to episode 3. 😁
🎵I’ve got a theory...that Wanda’s dreaming...and we’re all stuck inside her wacky sitcom nightmare.🎵 Or 🎶It could be witches...some Scarlet witches(scary glare from Wanda)...which is ridiculous cause Vision he got executed and he was good and rightly loved so use your power and I’ll be over here(gulp😳)🎶
The reason people don’t like this is because it’s a TRUE MYSTERY. Even the most hardcore comic fans really do not know what will be revealed. And I love the sitcoms.
Last time Emma Caufield was this early Anya arrived at the Hellmouth. Also loving the nostalgia - the opening credits reminded me a lot of a black & white episode of "Bewitched", which kind of makes sense considering Wanda and Vision trying to keep a secret and live a "normal" life. And the house's floorplan is a lot more interesting in this episode.
I genuinely enjoy the sitcom aspect of this series. It was really well done and it was super nostalgic. I never realised how many sitcoms I've watched in my life until seeing this and feeling the familiarity of it all as we go through the decades. I think this was a breath of fresh air. We've seen so many comic book movies and shows that I was in no rush to get back to the status quo because I know that there are a million action packed, drama filled, high stakes shows out there from Marvel that I've seen and enjoyed. This is something unique that I can enjoy in a totally new way. These two characters deserved the screen time to explore their relationship in a joy filled way whether or not it's real or whatever.
I'm about 90% sure that the voice on the radio is Randall Park , who played the federal agent who was keeping tabs on Paul Rudd in Ant-Man and The Wasp. Got a kick out of your excited reaction to seeing Emma Caulfield
Here's my theory: each week is a sitcom from a different decade, the first was the 50s, the second was the 60s and ended in colour, we got colour tv at the end of the 60s. If we have 8 episodes the last one will be in the present day when we'll find out what's going on. And that hexagon shape kinda looks like a tesseract... 🤔
Episode 8 and 9 should be modern times (2020), given they seem to be going decade by decade (starting in the 50s). I've also seen rumors that the last two are hour long episodes, but i don't know for sure so take it with a grain of salt.
Great vid! I think the main worry has to be for Wanda's sanity. If she's locked herself in some mental fantasy to cope with her grief, that's bad. If she is being brainwashed, that's bad. I love Elizabeth and think she has been fantastic in the movies and now is digging her teeth in. In the old school comics Wanda's powers were pretty amazing so if she "comes to" and then just snaps you could see massive carnage. I'm hooked.
Fantastic reaction I definitely have to say. Love that you recognize Anya (Emma caulfield) it's so great to see her in this. As for the show they present it like a tribute to sitcoms through the years but I think it's more of a tribute to the twilight zone and I definitely can't wait to see the next reaction your without a doubt my favorite person to watch reactions
Yeah. The commercials too. The toaster being a stark product that sounded like a ticking bomb (reference to how her parents were killed by a stark bomb). The watch being a hydra "strucker" watch , baron von strucker being the hydra head that gave her and quicksilver their powers.
It seems pretty clear that Wanda is responsible for whatever is happening here. The question now is if she's doing it of her own free will or if someone is manipulating her? The hints at Stark and Hydra in the commercials might be clues. Not to mention the reoccurring hexagon symbol they keep using, I think that definitely means something.
The stark and hydra commercials are her past traumatic events. Stark was the bomb that her and her brother were stuck with waiting for it to go off. Hydra is they did the testing on her
Ugh, people who want to get right into the meat of a story within the first episode or two are like Ex Lax imo. Just have some damn patience like Sesska and the rest of us.
Jess, did you notice the S.W.O.R.D. { Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division } Logo in the last episode on the note book & computer screen and on the helicopter in this episode ?
Me: I should go to bed early today Jess: Releases 2 episodes of WandaVision Me: ... Well we all have to make sacrifices here in life. also I even have some comic knowledge and I'm also feeling incredibly confused - in a good way though! I'm so looking forward to just seeing it all unfold. I think your theories are great and reflect on a lot of the discussions I've had about friends about it. :)
I loved this episode. My mom LOVED bewitched so when it came on when I was little we'd watch it. So I just so enjoyed this episode and it cracked me up a bunch lol. Can't wait for your reaction to the next episode! Have a great rest of the weekend girl and stay safe!!🙂💙❤
Was it Wan or Wang? That's what I saw someone else say in a recap review of the episodes...that he became part of the Sword organization. I could understand how he'd join if he worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. but he worked for the FBI, so how or why did he get recruited or joined is my question.
Stars arranged in a hexagon pattern in the opening credits, a bee keeper emerging from a man-hole, a Strucker watch with a HYDRA emblem, a helicopter with the SWORD emblem. What is real and what isn't? And the whole classic 50s and 60s sitcom setting. This is great!😊 But having seen Agents of SHIELD, I find myself thinking 'Framework' as in series 4.
If you look in the background of the people gasping at vision floating during the magic show, you can see agnus suspiciously reaching for something. Also, her husband "ralph" never shows up even though she constantly brings him up and how terrible of a person he is. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
2 episodes. We are spoiled by your hard work. Thank you ever so. I'm starting to think I'm the only person who missed the pregnant belly. I like mystery too and this sprinkles it well.
YOu definitely have to check out the next episode. It's so intriguing, I mean, Wanda can control this reality but yet, why are they asking, "who's doing this to you, Wanda?" There's definitely more too it and i'm digging the series
People who complain they're not getting answers right away have been spoiled by binge culture. I grew up in the 80s so we had to watch weekly. I also love the style of this show, being in different decades it's fun.
I was distracted, when I heard it, but my first thought was _Captain America,_ as well, when I heard that voice. If you like all the television nostalgia, I'm wondering if you've seen _The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel?_
So many folks these days really have no patience. There are also those who just aren't into the old styles of sitcoms. From the little I do know the show is only following the existing comic book story line. I'm warning peeps that this show is supposed to link up with the next Dr Srange movie somehow. So like it or loathe it you're gonna need to watch it if interested in the MCU.
Until Episode Three ("Now In Color") was released, episodes One and Two were just called Episode One and Episode Two. When Episode Three was released, the first two episodes were retroactively titled "Filmed Before A Live Studio Audience" (Episode One) and "Don't Touch That Dial" (Episode Two).
Great reaction. Glad I stumbled across your channel and once the F bombs started flying I hit subscribe 😂 PS I was the 800th like... Yeah I know, who gives a shit. I just thought I'd mention it 🤷♂️🤣
@@MovieMagic515 But also, Ralph might not exist at all. Someone complaining about a spouse who the audience never sees is a well-known sitcom trope. Norm from Cheers constantly made jokes about his horrible wife, and she NEVER showed up. Agnes might be playing to that.
Jessica, It sounded like Chris Evans to me too and remember that we don't know WHEN this all is suppose to be taking place. After all Vision died in Infinity War and didn't come back in Endgame so this could be happening just after Civil War.
I have a life actually. I just dislike the lack of continuity, flipping the script and for newcomers no real context to the story. Is there a story? How can we know?
