Thanks a bunch, great video for soothing nerves and showing how easy the change out can be. Took me a whole two minutes but I liked your 15 second demo. Wow, the roller blade wheels are soooo much better!
Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! I thought I was going to have to call a handyman But watching your video gave me the knowledge and confidence to do it! Great video!
These wheels are truly one of the best upgrades to my Aeron chair. In addition to being quieter and softer on the floor, the roller-blade wheels have made moving around in the chair much easier than with the OEM caster wheels.
Superb! Thanks for making this tutorial. It's really fun and easy to follow. I think I might just have to try the 15-second challenge on my future office chair wheel replacements lol. Great work!
Hey @annesummers09, sorry to hear you are having trouble with your wheels. Did you try using a flat blade screwdriver or a similar tool to help pry the wheels out. (There is a section in the video that shows this). If you tried all of those things and they still won't come out, there is a very small chance that the wheels are not removable. If that is the case, you can still upgrade/replace your wheels, but you would also need to purchase a new 'chair base'. We do not sell these but you can find chair bases for sale online and on Amazon. Hope that helps! Keep me updated!
My problem isn't the wheel itself, it's the hole into which the wheel goes. It's made of white nylon material and it's damaged, so the wheel won't stay in place. Is there anything that can be done in this case? It's a great chair with one bad wheel.
Hi Mike, great question. Based on your information it looks like you'd need a new chair base to fix that socket/hole. There are many reasonably priced chair bases on Amazon that you could purchase and replace on your office chair. (This would save you from having to purchase a brand new chair). Hope this helps!
