sraczka110 neco I have the same exact experience! I’m at rank V now and the Archer is still the only tank I’ve ever won a free talisman for. So I’ve played it quite a bit and actually learned how to use it.

jetnavigator except for the huge buff to British 7.3. These changes don’t really do much of anything. British tree is the most playable its even been especially at 9.0 and 7.3. Their 6.7 and lower stuff is as it’s has been for awhile, so decent with a couple of gems.

Bruh it could have 20mm of armor and still be amazing don’t be a dumbass and make sure you abuse your stabilizer. You should never rely on armor even in vehicles like the IS-3

@@talltale9760 Due to the lack of speed, most british players don't know how to abuse stabilizers, hell, sometimes I still unknowingly stop the tank for firing. But the main problem is, u abuse stabilizers around the corners, there are 3 problems, inertia making the APDS shoot diagonally, slow speed and non brawling armor. All of which fixable by being experienced and familiar with them, which most British players aren't and in most cases are held back by just easily dying and being outright useless when trying new things plus the 8k SL repair cost in 6.7 which isn't much but drains u alot given u have three tanks with 8.4k repair costs.

@@bravomike4734 I believe the problem is nor with armor, survivability just sucks. You get oneshotted all the time no matter who's shooting at you and where it hits.

@@shmekelfreckles8157 That is what I meant by non brawling armor in one of the three problems. I usually do move, stop, shoot and retreat instead of just moving. I'd rather hit it on point than risk missing due to shell inertia.

I still don't understand why the Chally II still doesn't have it's armor package and L27A1(CHARM III).

@@crazyadam9281 I agree. The problem ie they wouldnt give it its actuate numbers for armor and round. So I'd still suck. Here are the fixes they can introduce that would at least make it playable. 1. Wet ammo rack that prevent a cookoff for the first round. 2. Better Fire control systems, cause the gun handling and sights are far from realistic, the gun elevation speed especially sucks, and is literally the same as the centurions. 3. Flucking armor holes everwhere, side turret is missing like 100mm, hull is missing 50mm, and the manlet is not even modelled. 4. Hydrogas suspension that would allow equal off road capability to 2a5. 5. Crew is no where near where the should be. Loader is sitting but should be standing and his head in in the roof, commander has the same problem, the gunner isn't even looking at his periscope. 6. Hesh sucks, like it is the worst top tier round ever. It should be prformong better than even the russian HE. 7. Fuel tanks catching fire from artillary from 200m away, and yes this has personally happened to me, but you can also find it on RU-vid. Give me something else to add to the list.

@@jacobbaumgardner3406 theres alot wrong with the chally 2. 1. the housing for the TOGS systems is titianium alloy in which added with the 200mm steel plate and armoured gun housing (which isnt mnodeled in game) should add up around 700mm effective kinetic protection. 2. The fuel tanks are placed so that they absorb alot of enrgy from penetrating rounds making shots that succesfulyl pucnh through do alot less damage. 3. the gun should reload in 4 seconds for a max crew. its standard for a fully taimed chally 2 crew to lob 3 shots at a target in 12 seconds. 4. the gun elevation/depression should be 3 seconds from max depressed to max elevated. 5. the turret traverse should be much higher aswell as the tamnks overall mobility, acceleration and traverse. 6. there is 2 water bins either side of the gun in which the ammo charges is stored, there shopuld be no charges at the back of the hull or next to the driver or anywhere else for that matter. the water bins make ignition highly unlikely drastically improving survavability. 7. crew positions (the driver cant even see out of his viewport lmao) 8. the armour around the ammo and the crew compartment should be 25mm-30mm not 5mm. 9. rounds should not be able to eneter the crew compartment upon penetrating the engone from behind, theres just way to muchg steel in the way to absorb and disperse the rounds enmergy and shrapnel before it even reaches the rear compartment armour. theres also alot more issues relating to the way the tank is knocked out but there more issues relating to every tank and the physics themsleves within game.

Yeah it is pretty awesome. Basically same turret armor that the challenger one has. Just wish it got lowered to 8.7

@@talltale9760 Yeah I don't think that would be unreasonable considering you have the Leopard 1 L/44 at 8.7, with 120mm gun firing 2 pretty good rounds with a laser rangefinder and thermal vision to boot. I think that the Chieftains could all be moved a bit. The Mk3 and Mk5 (slight improvement in mobility aside) are functionally the same so they could both sit at 8.3. The Mk10 could move down to 8.7 and they could add the Chieftain Mk11 in its place at 9.0. The Mk11 had TOGS so it would get thermal night sights in place of the current night vision.

I concur. Mk10 is actually viable now with the BR changes to 10.3, it no longer gets stuck being dragged kicking and screaming to top tier. Unfortunately it still doesn’t change the fact that L44 can still go through Stilbrew or the terrible manoeuvrability, but at least we can use it now without getting shit on 99.999% of the time. All the chieftains should probably go down .3 in BR, especially the god damn MK5. The cheap repair cost won’t last for long though since you can actually do work in it, Gayjin will be on the nerf hammer and shoot it back up, because well Britain isn’t allowed a competitive vehicle without a huuuuuuge nerf.

@@handtomouth4690 they'll fix them eventually, when it affects a new nation or one of their p2w vehicles. look at the javelin, still a flying bug since release but that thing doesnt generate any money/isnt an iconic plane that attracts players so why bother, they just added it to say that they gave it something to the british tree.

@@GreenStuffConsumer It isn't. But Gaijin seems to think so. Tiger H1 used to be 5.7 and the tiger E was 6.0 and the only gameplay difference was a MG34 on the roof and the ability to use APCR.

At least the UK bugs are tame compared to the game breakers Italy has every time a new vehicle of theirs is added.... SM91 and 92 propeller damage bug; Ariete deadly arty weakness; The 1.7 SPG whose gun was 6º upwards as default position; the 20mm belts of LIGHT TANKS armed with autocannon being a AA belt of 3/4s of HEF-I and 1/4 AP-I; italian twin engine fighters couldn't land without bouncing like a crazy Mario.....
