@@aussiemilitant4486 I suffered a lot playing as Chinese faction. Their Cold War Russian Tanks and locally developed Type 96 can't do hull down very well, their Cold War American Tanks has tumor problem, the only decent tank in BR10.0/BR9.7 is the CM11. CM11 is basically soft skin version Challenger 1 with faster reload speed and equipped with the most powerful L7 gun in the game.

You never need to buy the tanks to keep going down the tech tree. You just need to research them.

@@laurie1183 Kinda late but I do believe that you need to purchase X (usually 6) amount of vehicles for every tier before you can advance to the next, no?

t 34 76mm is kinda trash ive seen so many of them shooting at me but non pen and killing a t 34 with a 2 pounder is easy

@@Chky40 nah it's not trash at all it's just not a brawler like people like to play it as. when people play the t-34 to its strengths and use its mobility to flank and also mitigate its weaker gun the t-34 is amazing.

Im sad to say I went for the stormer over the chally 2 and goddamn do i regret it. Got both now, but the stormer provided literally no benefit over the marksman other than shooting down the occasional stationary helo right in front of the team that the ADATS are too retarded to shoot down. When I do land on target with enemy helo's, the darts just phase right through, literally spread apart and fly around the target, or just hit and only hit, not even a crit. Even planes flying slow straight at me, the radar thinks they're pulling all over the place. And if you do hit the plane, you need 3/4 streaks to actually do some worthy damage to the plane because they have the same issues as helo's. Your better off just using the radar to find the target than manually tracking the target to hit. In fact, your probably better being the radar coordinator for a flock of chieftain marksman's (their radars turned off) since arad missiles are a thing and they dont track stormer. Now are these issues ping related, oh shit yer. But does that change how brokenly useless the stormer is, nope

If you're an American player who wants to get into Britain, just play the 76mm Shermans. The guns are useless, there's no armor, and mobility is meh. It'll make the Brits look like every tank is a top tier MBT. It's also good training for Japan and France lowtier, as well as the T-34E STZ.

lucky bastard. The only time im probably ever killed in my challies is always the ammo cooking off. Regardless of it ive been shot from the ufp/lfp, the side, the arse, or through the goddamn turret cheeks (yep chally 2 too). Only 1/10 times do i die to full crew loss, its always my goddamn ammo.

"The 3.0 pak wagon and 3.3 F2 still baffle me to this day, especially having been fully up-tiered very often in both British 2.3 and 2.7" Both of which can be killed by the reserve tanks 2pounder gun....... I love the British tank lineups, some of my favorite.

@@aussiemilitant4486 Yes, both of those vehicles can be killed by a 2-pdr. However, when you're playing something like the Matilda which is supposed to be a heavy tank designed to absorb shots, fighting a tank which can punch through any part of your armor no problem is not enjoyable, especially when you have no other advantage. The Crusaders are some of the more versatile tanks in Tier I and can deal with anything all the way through Tier II. They're easily capable of dealing with up-tiers thanks to other advantages they have, not so much with their heavier counterparts, the Matilda and the Valentine. Americans have their own problems with German guns too, of course, Russians as well. Makes captured vehicles in the German tree much more lucrative simply due to the fact that you don't have to fight Germans.

@@ODST_Parker Its only due to the Matilda having no real place in game as it is at a disadvantage due to the doctrine to which it was designed. The Valentines are atleast a bit more mobile and having better guns but still very British in its mobility. The Matilda cant really handle uptiers, its one of those special tanks that should have its MM changed to never be fully uptiered, some tanks require a +/- .3 BR MM. But that is something that Gaijin would never do, they have zero foresight for balancing tanks. Sure the Germans have some very good lineups, but they are far from my favorites, as the gameplay is too braindead. This is why it is healthier to have a 'no favorite nation' policy in WT, it removes personal bias and gives you better perspective of things.

@@aussiemilitant4486 You have no idea how much I want up-tiers to be limited to +/- 0.3 instead of +/- 1.0, but it'll never happen. They're blind, and they believe every tier is balanced despite clear evidence to the contrary in more cases than I can count. But yeah, you're right, Germans aren't always the clear best and it is better to have a selection of lineups from multiple nations. My favorites will always be the big four, America, Britain, Russia, and Germany. I'm starting on Italy a bit now, and it's fun too. Overall, I just wish they'd stop being so damn stubborn and realize that balance is still a major issue that needs to be addressed. It doesn't help that so many people who play the game are on their side, and all they say in response to people like me is some variation of "get good"

@@ODST_Parker Though the whole 'get good' thing is relevant to so many players that complain about shit, their gameplay decisions and situational awareness is terrible which is why my super aggressive play style works 80% of the time. I honestly had the most fun grinding the French line and with alot of the subsequent BR changes to many French vehicles, it has made many lineups quite lacking due to not having enough vehicle per BR. But on the overall many of the French vehicles are very strong and versatile.

How does manual transmission help lol? Like what does it do

Teutonic Teitoku it was mostly for the lineup really since Britain currently lacks support at top tier, plus I just like the look of the Challenger :-)

@@oxy3185 my friends say the turret is too empty on the WT model and it looks like a prototype, but I think that's just bad taste on their part. Here's hoping it's TES pack gets added soon

@@Oddwest It took them until 1.97 to fix the Starstreak range when the report had two sources from the manufacturer itself and it required changing one value on where it self-destructed so...
