War Thunder Realistic: M.S.410 [Stubby Beastie] 

Hey guys, got my first review of Patch 1.73, Vive la France, for you today, in which we're taking a look at the M.S.410 in realistic battle. A very interesting plane that bears a cannon into 2.0 br. These low tier French fries don't seem as good as the Italians were when that patch released but for some reason, I am having more fun spading and unlocking them. Also, the new engine sounds kinda freaked me out, I thought something was wrong with my PC.

Nice review mate! Did You know that we Finns have a special place in our hearts to that little plane? We had quite many pilot's who did get 5 kills with that. One was Lars Hattinen who was one of youngest and also last aces in FAF. He gredited 6 kills in a little over a month in summer 1944! And we did make also some own modifications to that plane! We put LaGG-3 Klimov M-105P engine and boosted performance with that. Results was much better than stock ones!

Give these French planes a chance guys. There's a couple of gems in there. Loving them.

they have now lowered the sound of the engines, they found it to be too loud. good they found out as everyone else ^^

I was quite surprissed with the MS.410 it was quite a nice little plane...

I reduced the volume of engine to 30% and it had no effect on enemy planes as a matter of fact i can hear them better now and can distinguish the guns shooting me clear. However the change in engine sound while looking around is very annoying. There should be a switch for that like "cinematic 3D sound" on/off.

Having great fun with our new French planes. There are some definite odd-balls there, but generally quite fun as they do get the cannons quite early.

I like the engine sounds sounds more realistic, spitfire sounds like it needs a tune up I turned the eng down by 50% JUST TO HEAR. GOOD VIDEO. Long wait times for me as well. Going to start going thru them tho. As always thanks jengar

I was watching this while in a match with the M.S. 410, I got 4 kills and 2 assists. I think Jengar vids are good luck.

Hey, thanks again for the awesome review. Waiting for your "Narval" review, if you already bought it. Just tried it once, but it was hard to climb, hard or strange to get cannons on target (but when you do, gosh, these 6 canon, ahahah), doesn't seem to have that much of an acceleration though you can outdive Doras. Maniability seemed like frustrating for me, not sluggish but really "heavy" and not reactive. Gonna wait to see what you can do with it. :) P.S : okay, just heard on the video you have the narval xD

TBH and with all due respect the sound of the engines is very realistic volume wise and I am a big fan of what they have done. You don’t really need sound to know an enemy is around you, just as long as you have good situational awareness you’ll b able to spot them (in cloud is different of course) before they pounce. Also to catch a pilot off guard is kinda a tactic you can do and something that happened historically because the chances are you wouldn’t hear anything over your own engine. That’s Just my opinion but hey, I’m a sucker for realism and these new engine sounds are amazing, I freakin love them and I hope they don’t turn down the engine sound but rather add an option that separates the players engine sound to other players engines!! As for currently turning the engine sound down with regards to enemy engine sounds I’m not sure, jump in a custom battle and test it out.

Do you do all of your spading in RB (with all planes, not just this one)? And yeah, they need to polish up the engine sounds, mainly the volume. It's very annoying across the board. The sounds are nice in quality, but too loud. It also varies. If you look behind you, the sounds are less, but from the sides and front, it's almost too loud. When I reviewed a recording of mine, I couldn't even hear myself over the engine...it wasn't such an issue before the patch.

D.520 is great

I used to love the sound of the DB605 on those 109s. New sound bytes don't sound anything like the traditional sound of that engine from other Sims. Sounds just generic now. And yes, the volumes are out of whack.

The sound problem has been fixed in the last file update.

I just really don't know what I think about the new sounds.. I miss the old p47 sound .. its gonna take some getting used 2 I guess .. kinda sounds like my lawnmower 2 me instead of a huge imposing v10-12 or anything else

I think every plane in the game was louder, and it's a little bit annoying. (at least for me)

Am I the only one who thinks all of the french planes suck until tier v? Even the latest french made prop is 4.7 br. And their jets are meh besides the bomber
