I got lucky and won a talisman for this on my second ever match in it. Having a blast with it, particularly in domination matches where altitude superiority is less critical. Helps that a lot of other pilots aren't familiar enough with the various potez models to realize it's maneuverability and firepower, until it's too late.

i went back replayed the potez 631 didnt climb this time and got like 4 kills didnt get only minor engine damage , i just wasnt playing it right ..it not a boom and zoomer you just hang back level altitude wait for the diving bombers to come to you at the objectives lol easy as pie

Hi Jengar, I think the answer to the question you pondered over is: Terminal velocity is reached when in a dive due to air that is pushing against the plane being equal to the force of gravity. So it just can not go any faster. Also there is a point reached when propellers stop producing thrust and give rise to drag. Other factors also will have some influence.

If you like that plane, you're going to wet yourself with joy flying the I-29. Like this plane it has good armament, good handling, but it adds a massive climb rate and speed. The thing is kind of an OP beast right now.

I tried it in a test flight when it first came out and I noticed that it never overheats even while wepping if you use MEC.

All the potez attacker were the whole base of the German 110's, they even used M.B.'s engine in their attackers too.

With this FM this plane will have higher BR, I think 2.7? Or Gaijiin will fix its manoverability and dive speed limit. We will see soon ™ :) Great video as always, keep it up!

Really interesting that the max speed in a dive is below the redline. But I guess it’s physically possible if the drag of the airframe is large enough, the the airframe is sturdy enough, and the engines weak enough to where drag overcomes acceleration before it redlines. Normally you would only see the “true” max dive speed in Arcade so it’s really interesting to see a case of it in Realistic.

Great video as usual. The engine seems to go overheating quite easily, something that is unusual in an aircraft with air cooling system engines. Oh BTW, the name of the aircraft should be pronounced as Pote... with silent Z. I am not a French, but I've learn some French in the past.

I think he did a review a while ago and don't think the FM has changed since then. It can be really deadly. You just need to learn to fly an almost dedicated turn fighter with faster speed and roll than the Zero. And get used to aiming the tight spread from the two powerful nose mounted Ho-5's, similar to twin ShvaK Russian planes. It's just practice.

Exactly. Wouldn't call it OP, but as long as you have firing discipline and good aim, the climb and turn capabilities can make it absolutely deadly. Even in the MG armed low BR Ki's I can really piss off and best much higher tiered fighters.

You should try to use MEC to manage the overheating in some planes. Sometimes I just open the radiators to 100% and keep using WEP without problems. Ibet you already knew, but it also depends a lot of the altitude and the map
