Every time I get shot down by a Yak with one of those oversized potato cannons in the nose, I wish horrible things on them in the name of historical accuracy, for each shot: parts flying off, massive coolant leaks, huge oil pressure problems! Hahahaha! **is slightly crazy after being shot down by too many Yakovlevs**

Cactus Joe I was referring to the Yak-9T, which has a 37mm. Given that it's more comparable to the Airacobra, which also has a 37mm, albeit a worse one.

***** You must be thinking of the P-400. Both the P-39 Airacobra and P-63 Kingcobra have 37mms in the nose.

Um....could I see the Bf109 G-6 please? I am coming close to it on the tech tree, and I heard mixed reviews, I would enjoying hearing a little bit about how you like or dislike it and see how a real pilot can use it.

It under performs for its tier but keep unlocking it for next update it will give you access to the 109 G-14 which has the same BR and much better performance

It's an alright plane, not my favorite but that goes for all the 109s, the G-6 is something you really have to know how to energy fight in or you die very quickly.

I have it, it is pretty good but the G-2 is the best preforming 109, anything after is heavier and a bit less maneuverable. The 13mm guns usually do lots of damage and the G-6 can out dive almost all British tier 4 planes and recks almost anything that is below it

You can destroy tanks with 45mm HE - dive and aim in engine. Maybe not Tiger II but something with less armour.

Really wish this game had a hardcore arcade mode... RB flight models are amazing, Arcade ones are shit. I want small-ish maps with realistic battle flight models. Sick of the generic UFO planes in regular arcade, but hate the 10 minutes of travel time each RB game.

I know this is an old comment but I see what you mean. I don't want multiple respawns or anything. I love love love rbs. I just wish the airstrip spawns didn't involve afk flying for 5 minutes lol. it's especially annoying when you're flying an f2h banshee that is stock and you get clubbed almost instantly by a mig17 lol.

Just checked my WT and saw a fancy update that Arcade tankers cried enough that they literally made it so bombs DO NOT EXPLODE.. for 10 seconds so they tank kids can run away. bomber will never kill a light tank again I've said it before, trying to balance *ARCADE* is like trying to herd cats.. cats on catnip.. with jetpacks

Mikayel Dobrovolski if you actually bothered to rub 2 brain cells together while reading the dev blog you would know the timer starts the moment it leaves the plane... which is only a nerf to suicide bombs.. and even then 10 seconds isnt much time to get away from a heavy bomb / load. Funny how you call others "kids" and yet you have the reading comprehension of a small child..

Mikayel Dobrovolski i just played the AA vs bombers event and guess what.. i had 0 issues dropping a 250kg bomb from 2km and killing plenty of AA...the kv1s went pop as well.. If i can kill heavy tanks with 250kg bombs with ease you shouldnt have any problems using 500/1000kg with your eyes closed....

Mikayel Dobrovolski the game did warn them.... its that loud whistling sound as my bomb has to travel 2000 meters.... if they cant reliably tell where those bombs are going to drop then how did those poor players stand any chance?? When the change goes through 10 seconds of bomb delay wont help them because it took longer than that for my bomb to hit the ground.... But cry more please, it amuses me

if this ever happens land you plane repair and rearm(make sure you do this first) the J-out, this wont kill you but rather just bring you back to the spawn screen, then you can load out some bombs. this doesn't work if you are the last player though

since i connected my war thunder to steam i've never really had to alt+tab. always shift+tab to bring up the steam overlay and use the browser in there, makes things way easier plus you can still see stuff goin on in the game :D

PhlyDaily you can kill medium tanks with about 4 well placed 45's. . . even with air target ammo. i know you are in realism and trying to conserve ammo, but i just wanted to let you know.
