I'd love to do Ironjawz. I'll probably have to wait until the Grand Alliance Destruction book is out, which could be a few months, but I definitely want to discuss them.
Noob question... I cant find if this has been asked or not on your channel - can you provide a key for the values your using for your equations listed above? Mainly not sure where your DPA3/DPA4/DPTA5 or ATAN come from. I've been trying to figure out a way to evaluate my collections and I really enjoy your content so I'd like to apply your methods to the models that I currently have. Thanks!
Not a noob question at all! Totally reasonable. DPA3, for example, is how much damage it deals on average against Toughness 3. So for an S3 model, I take the crit damage + 2x the non-crit damage, divide by 6, and multiply by the attack stat. That gives you the average damage for one attack.
ATAN is just a graphing function (short for Arch-Tangent) that represents something that increases at a decreasing rate. I used it to represent the fact that T6 is better than T5, but not by that much, where T4 is much better than T3.
