Cosmo's voice reminds me of Big ANG. Most importantly he is very clean , thriving and happy. Such a great interview. It's like I would want to know Cosmo. I have never had addiction issues for such a bottom but his mind set is so spot on with believing all will always be okay. He comes back and builds even more.

I know Cosmo personally, I worked as a stylist for him for 12 years, Melrose was what fed me for all of my 20's Cosmo taught me how to sell and helped me get sober the first time.

I knew Cosmo back in the Flasher (it was a store) days. I would buy something at least once a month from him and would bring anyone who came out of town to visit me to get dressed by him. He is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. I even remember smoking cigs in the store with him and would prance around pretending I worked for him. My parents even met him (I was like 18 years old). Seeing this really made me happy and I’m so proud of all of his success and accomplishments with still being The Queen of Melrose and with sobriety! ❤❤❤

I met Cosmo back in the late 90's when I thought I wanted to be a wardrobe stylist. It was just once when I was shopping at one of his stores and he swooped in and was just very helpful, he was so nice to me in an industry where a lot of people aren't. From what I remember he had about 3 stores on Melrose and he showed me around each one. He was a great guy and I'm glad he's doing well.

I found Cosmo through a video on twitter of him talking about a Madonna concert a few days ago and how the parking was so far and I absolutely LOVED his presence and energy. Then to watch Rebecca's story and get to see Cosmo again felt like some sort of blessing to me and now I get to hear this story of resilience and glamour and everything in between and I think I really needed to hear that. I hope that maybe someday life will afford me an opportunity to meet Cosmo and tell him how much of a delight they are. Thank you for being a star.

I’m sober in AA and this felt like a bonus meeting today. Really identified with the story and love the queen’s personality. Rock on

I remember Cosmo at Astor! He used to cut my hair. It took me awhile to connect the dots from the distant past like ‘how do I know this guy?’ I’m so glad he’s doing better and thriving! It’s obvious what a lovely soul he is.

Cosmo's interview is very inspiring. I am currently working with a therapist do deal with depression and anxiety. I do not experience issue with drink or drugs, but getting through my first 20 years of my life, facing all the abuses you can think of, can have a devastating effect on your life. I am now almost 49 years old. I hope I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

A dear friend recommended to stop by and see Cosmo. Cosmo had no idea the sadness that was within me. I was welcomed with open arms and she treated me so special. Dressing in her fabulous clothes, all the compliments and laughter were wonderful. I believe Cosmo sensed that I needed some joy in my life. She even got my husband to dress up. It was a day that I will never forget. Cosmo you are one of a kind and please don’t ever change. Love you lots and thank you for being my friend.

This is one of my favorite people now. Just saw how warm he was to Rebecca in his store and treated her like royalty. Cosmo is seriously so animated and boisterous while also so humble and empathetic, him and his business partner seem like really good people, glad they’ve found success in their industry.

The gift of sobriety is incredible to receive and a blessing to pass on.

His honesty is disarming, it completely draws you in. The voice the hair and the provenance...fabulous.

Cosmo used to dress me in my early career as a DJ. Great person. Love her personality and vibe. I still have a lot of her items. She made my look for the LA Music Awards in 2013. Rock it Queen!

What a genuine sweetheart. Being of service to others truly is a natural antidepressant. It's especially important when you feel like you can't even help yourself. OMG I met Cosmo with a friend of mine 25+ years ago at his shop on Melrose. I was visiting from the east coast. My friend and I are both tall and skinny and he had so much fun dressing us up and we had tons of fun too!! His personality is so awesome I will never forget that one shopping experience!! I’m so happy to see him again and hear his story. Thanks Cosmo!

I, too, grew up in a chaotic Italian American "Good Fellas" household and in NYC in the 80s (I wonder if you cut my hair at Astor Place!?) and you described it perfectly. Sadly, lost lots of friends along the way, as well, and am so happy you and your brother made it to the other side. Thank you Cosmo. You're a star.

I always look fwd to the "scroll of the still portrait" on all these interviews because I want to see their shoes. Like Forest Gump said,"Mama says you can tell a lot by a person's shoes". Cosmos didnt disapoint. I love that part!

Wow Cosmo you worked at Astro Place in NYC! My Hairstylist their was "Chopper" back in early 90's & gave me a Fab A-Symmetrical Hairstyle when I was an Assistant Buyer in the Dress Division for a Retail Company in Midtown. One of our US Retail Buyers who would fly in for fashion week~ "Cookie" (Never then did I know she was Magic Johnson Wife~til I left few yrs later). I remember her commenting me on my new hairstyle. Thanks Cosmo for bringing up the memory sweetie & sharing your life's journey~ Blessings

This was such a great and refreshing interview. Because sometimes I need to take a break from this channel due to the fact that I work in social services and child welfare. It can really take a toll on me. But it was really nice to come back and see this interview. Thanks Mark and Cosmo.

I adore Cosmo and met her years ago. She had helped a friend of mine who was a street kid and I am so grateful for what she does in helping people. Without Cosmo, I wouldn't have met a friend who is now thriving. So glad to see her get recognized as she is a wonderful soul.
