fyi the tenet cycron has innate heat so you could go for magnetic progenitor with radiation from mod and corrosive/viral with blast for more status with galvanized shot

The fun thing about the Corpus is that before Jade Shadows, the Corpus were actually double-dipping the Steel Path bonus to their shields, so old corpus used to have 6.25× the shields, instead of the 2.5× they were supposed to have, meaning the Corpus on SP now feel a lot squishier than they used to, but they now have better shield regeneration, which may be why this build feels so much better against the Corpus

For the shotgun build, I'd recommend the strun incarnon. The status upgrade in the last evolution gives it ridiculous status chance, plus it has innate blast damage.

CEDO, tho I haven't used it since rework but I believe it has innate blast on the glaive so you could get priming blast as well as the guns blast.

Small tip: Go for magnetic progenitor > For blast + electricity builds use Conjunction Voltage instead of Merciless or Deadhead. For Viral+magnetic+heat, use Cascadia Flare. Pistol Elementalist can fit well in a slot if you're not using Riven on it.

Give the Phage a shot! Guns with primary element you can make blast corr with 3 mods just need to be concius of HCET.

A note on the tenet cycron, its base damage type is heat. That means you can get a cold progenitor and have blast with no elemental mods at all, or magnetic/impact to add another element (or two) to a blast+electric/corrosive combo.

Trumna Blast for primary! Blast kills count towards its charges and the AOE is incredibly strong

Strun Incarnon mode has an explosive projectile with a lot of blast damage and crazy status! Ooh, you could also try the Cedo alt fire!

"Which shotgun would be the best-" There's a lot of right answers here. Cedo would be comedy; Corinth could be a fun build; but I'd really love to see Tigris Prime, in this room where it absolutely does not belong, lol.

Definitely Cedo for shotgun elementalist, priming, crit, and innate high status blast in one is very nice

Tigris Prime with Shotgun Elementalist is awesome, because you can get the extra shot from Elementalist and combine it with Atomic Fallout for radiation and more magazine capacity (bringing your shot total to 4 which feels GREAT on the Tigris.) Then you can run Blast+ Electricity and the weapon pops off hard! you end up with 4300 electricity AND blast damage per shot and that's before proccing status with elementalist. I highly recommend this setup!

3:40 multishot is actually very important for beam status weapons due to how beams apply multishot

Blast does a lot better on accolytes then other status effects because instead of the procs being unable to trigger since they can't reach 10, they just trigger early at the lower cap. Meaning accolytes just take 2.5× the amount of smaller blast procs as opposed to the usual!

OG status shotgun Tigris Prime would be an interesting choice, Phage also spreads status pretty well.

Phantasma Prime is probably the best candidate for the Silly Blast Build™ but honestly doing another Corinth build focusing on the alt fire could be really fun too

The best shotgun for a "silly blast build" has to be the Phantasma. I've been using it every since I got the mod, and it's incredibly fun to play. Just don't try to look for the Blast status on enemies, because the Phantasma applies them so quickly they keep reaching 10 and resetting. It's very silly; very funny; and very fun to play.

MY BABY THE CYCRON, legit hasn't left my secondary slot since i valence fused it. I have no reason to run anything else. Shit's good and i will simp for it

recently tried the phantasma prime with a blast build like this, work amazingly, causing like a hundred blast procs a second and clearing steal path with ease

Kuva Kohm is a good (though plain) option for Blast buffoonery. Won't struggle at all to pump those procs out.

I'd recommend Phantasma for shotgun elementalist, I run mine with blast corrosive, and it's great!

Conjunction Voltage is another good option for the arcane, makes up for some of the lost multishot from Lethal Torrent.

Trick with acolytes and other capped things is get them into crowds so they take the AoE explosions (this is also true with Sevagoth and Qorvex)

Phantasma Prime secondary fire based build with the Silly Blast focus sounds like a ridiculous time!

Blast Shotguns? I suggest Phantasma Prime. Combine with with a grouping frame like Nidus and it gets nutty. A fun alternative is also using Astilla Prime with Mag, especially since your shrapnel from your shots is pretty good at spreading procs everywhere.

My immediate thought for the shotgun elementalists would be the beam shotguns like Convectrix and Phage, or the bullet hose of the Kohm, but the best weapons for it are probably the Boar and Phantasma Prime, especially the Boar Incarnon form with its base status of 120%.

Hey MCG, i implore you to try the Kompressa as well for a Blast build. The Amount of multishot tied with the explosions on the initial hit clears even SP, and i mean easily! Its been my go to sidearm for months now. I believe im using Cascadia but if you have a bestter suggestion im all ears. Disclaimer: i use a magnectic damage most times with either Corrosion/Viral or heat as two other types.

How about Arca Plasmor? Or Exergis?

may i suggest the Phage? with its very high status chance i think that the wide spread "tentacles" might be a good way to effect multiple enemies with Blast

I suggest you trying out Spectre Vandal as well with elementalist mod and bunch of slash procs. This thing combined with 5\5 synergy melts everything, I absolutely love it

It looks like the blast procs are popping and resetting at 4 stacks on the acolyte, making it much better than other damaging procs.

if you liked this, you may wanna try Gaze Secondary Kitgun with Crit and Secondary Encumbered.

For shotgun elementalist I would recomend the Boar prime or the Kuva khom, they are both auto fire shotguns.

I got this idea, what if we mod corrosive + cold on Boar Prime, then we can have corrosive + blast in its crazy spreader incarnon form, plus we get good single target damage in normal form since they changed the impact is now for armor units

Boar incarnon with the status evolution is just disgusting with how much status it produces. It gets multiplied by the base multishot, pretty good.

Try that exact build on the Aegrit, and bring an outside source of viral (like Harold?). I did this with Mirage and wiped the floor with a netracell. Oh, and drop Savvy for Primed Fulmination. BIG BOOM!

I should try this on the twin rogga! The reload speed will help it a lot since its a 2 shot weapon, and its a shotgun so it can do some decent blast

You should try shotgun elementalist on the steflos to try and make it good.

Phantasma would be bonkers with blast procs. P.S.: It's your style of building, but you don't *need* to put galvanized aptitude in everything. With priming is pretty good but without, if you're proccing only two status, maybe upfront damage is better. Bane mods also double dips in status damage (I don't like banes too).

For the shotgun, the best thing I can think of is the Kuva Kohm.

I think Heavy Weapons need arcanes now.... they've fallen behind. I'd like to see one that causes a 10 stack blast proc every time you get a status effect.....or auto 10 stack any time you get any status hit..... any other ideas?

As an almost exclusively tenet cycron player for well over a year now, this is not the build you should be running on a heat progenitor cycron Heat (any %) - corrosive or viral with primed heat mod and elementalist, cascadia flare arcane (goes into lvl1k+ with ease, not sure when it falls off i get bored around lvl1.5k) Magnetic (higher % more better but it's not too necessary) - blast and corrosive with secondary encumber, "EDA made easy" mode pretty much, necramechs are a joke Impact (you really want 60% here) - hemorrhage build with encumber again and corrosive, fun watching enemies die from a bit of heat and a lot of bleed, if they survive the beam This weapon is insanely strong and infinite ammo is just such an amazing bonus

Honestly, I think Kuva Kohm would be perfect. I personally don't like it, but it spits out so many pellets and it's status chance is obscenely high.

I don't remember is Astilla Prime's Status chance is good or not, but that fire rate is beautiful and an all round good shotgun. So I'd say that one if it has a workable status chance. Or potentially... Sobek Blast? I don't really use shotguns lol 😅

Theirs a mod called ice storm for secondaries gives more ammo and 40% cold good mod for cycron, ocucor and Nukor.
