Plugging those heater core ports like that might cause steam pockets and over heating. When you weld them shut, you want to put a plate over the whole area and die grind out a notch between the two ports so coolant can still circulate. That's why you see people loop them a lot and not cap them. Also the factory system has a cross over in the two hoses so it keeps circulating while the heater is off.

Car looking great! Nice work guys. If it was my car, I would place the turboes behind the headlights, delete the inner light, having a intake to the turbos there instead. I live in Sweden and they won't let you have turbos sticking up that much. I think you can buy something called intake headlight for the e30, not sure.

LOL Bosch and cheap in the same sentance. As a BMW guy, I never would have thought it could be in the same phrase. Even over a decade ago I uprgaded the ignition drivers in my MegaSquirt setup to the at the time released new to the public BOSCH chips. Automatic thermal shutdown to prevent failure, can't really ask for more as a tinkering mechanic building their first stand alone.

These vids got me to hit the "sub" button, whats up Wyatt, can't wait to see more!
