THIS is the voice of Horus they should have used for that trailer. I get that Chaos messes you up and poisons you from the inside out but the growling voice didn’t cut it for me. This is the singular best Horus voice I’ve yet heard.
I completely agree with you. This is a voice of a charismatic and cunning leader. The trailer voice is a more fit for a fanatic, like Angron, maybe Lorgar.
@@Filip_Agrippa Yeah youre right the trailer voice was bloodlust and resentment. Not the fatal Lupercal flaw: ego. Horus was one the "flash gitz" along with Lorgar, Guilliman, Sanguinius, Fulgrim and Magnus. They shouldnt look or sound like Angron, Perturabo or Curze.
@@billdavis7577 it was KorPhearons fault, he had a chance at killing girlyman but wanted to convert him. Calth was also only attacked by Astartes who were too "Insane" and "Fanatic" and going by Word Bearer standards, well that must be fcked up lol
@5:16 "...the Hydra does not see all, and now his blindness places a knife at his own back. Corax would not have made such an error..." Was it an error though? Sneaky sneaky Alpha Legion...
Horus... He was a greatest Primarch and Warmaster, too. Lorgar is real Arch-Betrayer, whose name cannot be mentioned, and this is my opinion, but if think logically and analytically, it becomes clear what was the matter... Yes, Horus was the culprit of those events, but the main organizer was and remains Lorgar Aurelian, the First Heretic... All hail Lupercal!
Not even that, even before the heresy horus was a huge asshole,he use the legion of corvus is fodder and lie to all his brothers, he was a scumbag from the start.
Man, I love this. It's like listening to a Doctor Who episode, circa the late 1980s. Back when you had to rely on high Shakespearian acting because your special effects budget consisted of a coffee cup, a cardboard box, and half a can of paint.
PHUCK YOU ERIBUS!!!!!!! 5:30 also this one line really does sum up the dilution of the warmaster: the angel, the lion, the wolf, the raven, the dragon, the iron hands, the pretorian, the khan and the emperor of ultrama all stood against his collection of monsters and unwilling slaves.
@Auf Wiedersehen! He was coddled and insecure schemer. Lion El'Johnson and Ferrus Manus (by Horus own admission) were gigachads. Thats also why they were colossal assholes.
Makes you wonder What things would have been like if Horus was never the one to turn traitor How would have things gone? Would it have been Lorgar? Or another?
Who else could have commanded the others? There woudnt have been a herrsy just a small series of censured legions and their primarchs, for 40k humanity would have already won the war AND the Emperor would lead us in the flesh, though we would have the other storyline, what would happen yo the legions and their primarchs at the end of the war?
I think part of him always knew he was not serving Dark Gods but instead enslaved to parasitic warp entities both created and fed by the psychic excesses of sentient life. That part of him was glad to be wiped from existence in the end. Its all fucking Erebus and Lorgars fault. Horus was just a weak, spoiled daddys boy. His bigger brother the Lion should have been Warmaster.
The Lion may have been a great warrior and stratagist but he lacked the social skills needed for the position of Warmaster. One of the primary reasons Horus was chosen (besides being with Bug E the longest) was that he could work with the other Primarch’s and had the charisma to make them see his way of things and knew their strengths and weaknesses so he knew exactly where they were needed. Also don’t be so quick to say the Lion should have Warmaster. If anything be happy he wasn’t for if he was he would have been the one spearheading the Heresy.
It’s sad. You can tell that Horus Lupercal isn’t himself just by listening. He’s being corrupted and possessed by chaos more and more as time goes on. He was such a great man. Fuck Chaos!
