I was 14 in 1980 and lucky to have been a part of the greatest decade of RAW pop, rock, speed metal, and heavy metal ever seen since. There was no mixing at these concerts, just raw unadulterated music. I get teary when I look back. God bless you Jani. RIP
I grew up listening to Warrant, the best kind of music there is and nothing can ever replace it. Jani, you will be greatly missed. You and your music will Live on forever.
I saw Warrant in concert back in 89 and I still have my concert ticket stub ....nothing can be as good as those days ( maybe ) . If there is a time in my life that would beat that ....it hasn't come yet .
May he find peace. Jani, I love your music. I'm in my 20's so I wasn't fortunate enough to see their early performances but I wish I could have. Listening to their songs today is almost bringing me to tears.
I was at this show at Watermania in Orlando, FL We all grabbed a tube and rocked in the pool. The Stage Dolls and Blue Murder were on this concert bill as well but only played two songs a piece due to rainy Florida weather. What A Great Show and Great Memories !!!
Nicely said Biff. I was there, 'bout the same age. The 80's were magical. They try to duplicate the music, movies, and style, but it was a once in a lifetime generation.
He was truely a great man! I have met both Bret and Jani and can Honestly say they are both wonderful men. He was a man just like the rest of us and he admitted his problems. We as fans tend to forget that sometimes. Plz keep ur negative comments to urself tho. His family, friends, and fans are hurting right now. I can honestly say what a privledge it was to be friends with Jani! I will always love you Jani. May you find peace in Heaven, I will miss you so much
So many memories come rushing back watching this video. Sitting in the wave pool at Watermania in Kissimmee, FL. Jani wanted to jump in the water so bad. The Stage Dolls & Blue Murder were on this bill too. Jani you will be missed. You were a great song writer and your music will live on forever...
In October 1988 it was our last day of vacation. We went to Kennedy's space center and we're heading to the Orlando International airport listening to the radio when the guys from Warrant came on with the DJ (WJRR 101.0) and we're talking about a concert that they were doing that night at Water Mania on 192 in Kissimmee. We couldn't change our flight, of course, we were on the way to the airport. They played that concert that night at water Mania and this is a video they did at that show. It was my understanding that it pour though most of the concert!!
I cant tell you how bad I wish I could go back to when this song was ON the charts... I had the best girl friend, best friend, Make me sad that all of my friends and I used to just love to jam to these guys..I would so much love one day back then. Just to see everyone again.
Bob Vinson i know the feeling life seemed so awesome then .thought we would hear music like this forever and our lives would never change. Man I kiss the 80s so fucking bad. There I said it. It sucks now plain and simple this world is so different and just not a world like it was back then when Warrant ruled and Jani rocked the house RIP Jani
My mom & dad were both dying in '83..........I missed it all trying to keep my sanity. How I wish I could go back. Not to the pain but to the '80's rock music. Too many to mention.
boy does this bring back memories,,, and i agree with the one persons comment, he was sooooooo fine back then, but dayummmmmmm, he let hisself go. he will always be my hero regardless!!!
@BrunoJovi : Lo tengo desde 1991, pero también en formato VHS (original)... En mi opinión, esa es la gracia... Lamentablemente ese registro nunca se editó en formato digital oficial (Láser o DVD)... Saludos.
Man did these kind of bands not do some awesome studioalbums, they did some of earths most greatest live performances too! :D I love the 70-80s- and early 90s music!! Queen,Winger,Warrant,Def Leppard,Van Halen,Crüe,Kix,The Cult and more and more..,All these great bands RUULEES!
What the hell? Not only did the 80's have the best music, but apparently there were concerts at waterparks! SOOO JEALOUS! WHAT THE HELL!? I wanna see Bon Jovi in the wave pool!
the good days of music!!! wouldnt it be great if bands like these were still becoming famous like that! it would give me a chance to see my favourite music as a teenager in this shitty time, i hate music now, its crap, im forever 80s metal, even though im only 18
@BrunoJovi it seems I found out something. There's no the full version of the show but only one so-called promo song. Hundreds of hair metal bands did thousands one-song-videos that times shot at big gigs where dozens of bands could performe their little shows in one day;) (e.g. rocklahoma, etc.)
@rearea919 just google the lyrics for this song i had to also.. great song , great band, great live saw them back in the late 90s with whitesnake in L.A. great show .
wondering where they are now wish they would come back and tour haven't seem since aug.5th 1991 at great woods and still love their music,.come back and jam.
great song from a great band, but what does jani say the girls name is, i pretty sure he says melissa but when ive looked up the lyrics ive seen lisa and marcy. anybody know for sure what the name actually is??
@stocktonmiller110 Filmed at a waterpark, that's crazy but looks like Warrant played a show at a waterpark. That's different and rare. It's on film here. It's hard to fake that.
Where the hell are bad ass concerts like this? I live in Orlando. We still have Wet & Wild, Blizzard Beach, and Aquatica and none of them can put together something like this. Pathetic
