I think I misspoke a bit bc I am not in a position where I can tell others what is right and wrong in their religion and country(and so aren't you). However it is true that in preparation for the WC basic human rights were disregarded and I don't think that that should be ignored. I should have made that clear tho and not generalize that much(maybe only talk about the fifa related stuff). I also could have made it more obvious that this is MY opinion and that you can have another one but I just believed that that is common knowledge. The music vaguely reminded me of music used for a Disney movie called 'The Jungle Book'. Which was back when every culture was still appropriated and blended together for Hollywood entertainment. I think that movie was supposed to be in India. I just love that Dreamers has taught me about the music and traditions of Qatar. Instead of the generic Hollywood stereotype I learned in my childhood.

Y'all I have my opinions and my morals and values are not at all compatable with the things that went down due to the way the stadium was built and how Qatar got their hosting position. However I do understand that there are a lot of different opinions and povs on this planet and I don't think that I am in a position where I can tell others what to do or not(sorry if it came across that way). But it is important to me that what happened won't be forgotten or denied so that everyone can form their own opinion.

The western media published misleading information saying that 6500 people died building the stadium which is not correct. 6500 workers died in total since 12 years ago in the whole country, according to FIFA only 3 people died building this stadium. If western media really care, especially European and British media, why didn't they post anything about the 21k migrant workers that died in the EU? Obviously, they have a hate boner against Qatar for being a Muslim country and they are butthurt because an ARAB and a MUSLIM country outdid them. Their white genes can't accept being outdone by a middle eastern and to top it off a Muslim country. I'M NOT TRYING TO DISRESPECT THE VICTIMS. I agree with you that he is very ignorant of Arab culture. I only noticed that from this video in which he talked about the song. It is clear that he did not do research on that, and that makes it a hollow video.

It actually by Jungkook, a solo! I saw the credit, Fhad was credited as a backing vocals, in all platforms expect for the music video! Just for that Qatar touch! Check the credit on Spotify & iTunes, u will understand better.

I agree. I can’t help but think back to Waka Waka and how they utilized all of Shakiras capabilities as an artist for the mv. I also like how they had Shakira mixed in with the African culture that they were putting into the Waka Waka music video. Jungkook almost kind of seemed like a separate entity from the Qatari culture represented in the video besides the scenes shot in the market place.

Which part is exactly is OFF POINT??? He's a professional video editor and he gives very clear, respectful, objective, understandable analysis, suggestions and criticisms to EVERY MV he reacts to. I've watched a lot his reactions since looong ago and he's always like this. If you really "have been following most of his reaction videos", then you would know this just like I do. Biased comments??? If you think it's biased, then let me tell you, he gives waaaaayyy more criticisms to western/American MVs than this one, although he is a westerner himself. Then how is he biased? He's not. And he usually praises KPOP MVs the most although Korea/Asia is not his race. It again proves his objectivity. Because let's be honest, in the music industry right now, the best MVs are generally the kpop MVs. I'm a Jungkook biased ARMY and a KPOP fan since the old 2nd generation back in 2009. So just like him, I'm very used to watching the classic top-notch quality editing of Kpop MVs and especially BTS MVs. That's why I can totally understand and relate to his points when he said that this MV is great, but not to that level of flawlessness and certainly can be done better, and he would do some edits differently if he was the editor. And I found myself agreeing with most his criticisms. Especially the scene of JK in the market where he said they're actually nice shots but the way of cutting and shifting angels is a bit "messy". Cuz that's literally what I thought too when I first watch it. Also the part of the long shot into the ship from afar with the eagle. It IS a beautiful shot as he mentioned. But yes, the sequence is a bit off cuz it is put after the scene in the ship. Becauae based on the commonly used editing technique by professionals in movies and MVs, it's usually the other way around. They put the long shot zooming in first to introduce the new location, and then put the scene inside that place. This methode is proven very effective in engaging the audience more and keeping the storyline interesting. Also the part of Fahad where it was a very close up shot of just his face singing, but then there's a woman dancing in the back. It is quiet distracting and I would agree with him to zoom a little more to draw full attention to Fahad and exclude the distraction if I was the editor. And many many more. He made great points and constructive criticisms. There is nothing to be "really disappointed" about. Maybe you should learn to take suggestions and chill out.
