The Race Guide for the Sandringham Half Marathon on the 16th June 2024 mentioned that the course was a mixture of road & trails. I decided that I would wear my best race shoe which was the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 3. Was this the right choice of shoe? Well you will have to watch until the end of the video to find out! This was my 7th Race in one month, which now consisted of two Half Marathons; two 10k's, two 5k parkruns & a 10 Mile Road Race. I was a tired and knew I wouldn't be able to compete well today. I decided to have a steady run around the course and just enjoy it taking in the beautiful scenery that Sandringham Estate has to offer. I finished in a time of 1 hour 53 minutes in 264th place out of 958 runners and 5th out of 15 the 65+ age group. A very satisfying days work!
