This is sooo strange! Like, the MCU is know for being good with forgettable villains... And there's more S-tiers than D and F. And adding non-villains as villains... Like, Ross? A villain? Really? I bet this guys give 8-10 (from 0-10) for every movie ever!
Hot take: Ultron is the top of S tier. He’s menacing as hell, that Black Widow scene where he rips himself in half. Goated. He’s got that complex juxtaposition that he’s got the internet’s entire intelligence but still naive in his solution. After all, he was born yesterday. And lastly he’s got that Stark charm. I think if he had an extra day to prep his plan, the Avenger’s would’ve been toast.
Baron Zemo succeeded in destroying the Avengers and he was morally grey in his motivations. Kilgrave is deliciously evil. Them not being 1 and 2 in S tier is a crime.
The criteria for ranking was all over the place lol. Love you guys, but Justin Hammer so high up? He was a joke and all of his plans went wrong. His tech didn’t work at times. He lost control to Whiplash. So if how successful they were was important, no way he’s that high up lol.

I've always said Marvel's biggest mistake in this universe is getting rid of the villains way too soon. Some of them could have definitely used more than one movie to do their thing. Makaleth is a great example.

Kilgrave. I still to this day am not sure exactly HOW he lost. He is easily the most terrifying and one of the most evil villains with a power that is OP. What if he told Spiderman to kill MJ? Literally how is he NOT high S Tier?
Kill grave is 100 percent s tier and though it's a really tough decision he is definitely at least in the running for the greatest villian in marvel live action

Whoa whoa whoa... Wenwu is so so so much higher than Hella. Hella was a goof ball with no empathy and a penchant for murder. That's it. Go back and watch the emotions on Wenwu's face both in the flashbacks when he is with his wife and say the end of the movie when he's arguing with his son at the gate... So good. He's almost at the top of S tier.
I still have a hard time with accepting MBJ as Kilmonger. His dialogue did not match what I would expect from an MIT grad/Navy Seal and adjacent Chad Boseman (R.I.P.) he seemed kind of low intelligence and thuggish. Maybe A tier not S. Just my opinion.
Erik Stevens was a brilliant character, written incredibly smart, and acted that way too, from Micheal B. Jordan. If you felt he was “low intelligence” and “thuggish”, I think that’s a sign you should look inward and ask why. If you weren’t aware, the use of the word “thug” is often associated with people who are making an effort to diminish or delegitimize the accomplishments or efforts of a black man.

scarlet witch being that much higher than ultron is just insane to me, age of ultron is amazing and people that hate it are children. its the only mcu movie where the avengers are a team from start to finish.
