I love your life and how you are living it. So much more real than many of the other sailing channels/vlogs. I likemany of them too. But there is something about your videos that particularly appeals to me.
Every time I watch one of these videos I feel like I'm more called to the sea. I'm terrified by the open ocean but I feel more and more like it's a call to adventure...
I imagine that the first sighting by the plane was a false alarm... seems the boat did drift in the direction you originally expected, perhaps just faster... This just proves that it is necessary to have an AIS transponder on the boat and leave it on at all times... Would have been easy to find...
Bon chance et cheers from Canada!
Enjoyed.......the Swan.....stolen, mooring ball fail.....who knows? Back in one piece with all owners stuff? Priceless! Are you still in the Caribbean or did you return to Europe?
CHRIS198490 with a Swan....gps trackers are pretty inexpensive, a Swan owner could likely use one? Watched a vlog recently where the owner had set up alarms against intruders when not aboard...was fun....spoke to the vlogger and he relied on another boat owner to be watching and listening while away from the boat...not practical perhaps. But....there must be an app supporting a gps tracker of sorts that will indicate when the boat in “on the move”? Merci, a bientot, Andrew
you gotto follow him on facebook or instagram. The videos on this channel are always with some months backlog since he can´t cut video and upload videos at sea.
I thought it was going to be your boat that was stolen, but then I thought that would be a pretty stupid thief to steal a bright blue and orange, one of a kind painted boat. No hiding that baby among all the other white sailboats! Thanks for another great video!
If one doesn´t care, it only takes 1-2 hours and some cheap paint to get that boat white again (at least white enough so that search planes and boats from afar won´t recognize it)
