I made up some homemade rice mixes like, rice a roni, did some dry muffin mixes , gravy mixes, brownie mixes, Swiss Mocha Coffee Mix. It just saves a little time having them already made up and in my pantry. It also saves money because I'm not having to buy all of these things at the store. The more we can make ourselves the less we have to buy.

I don’t have a food saver or vacuum sealer yet but I keep dried apricots and mango and other dried fruit just in jars with lids. I normally go thru them within a year and never had a issue with them drying out. Great video…cheers 🇨🇦🌷

very cool you're soaking your grains... Weston A. Price Foundation is a wealth of information on traditional foods! yay you!!! it's been so nice seeing your Mom in your videos - we're all gonna miss her - time flew by! ❤ (ETA: I harvested a few things from my garden today and am fermenting salsa for the first time! also made more ice cream LOL)

The new board would make a terrific charcuterie server. I put up 5 pints of beef for BBQ sandwiches later, a tray of seasoned, roasted tomatoes for the freezer to eat later on sourdough discard flat bread layered with cream cheese. So yummy. Then I made a big pot of tomato, beef, rice for stuffing green peppers. I'm freezing the left overs for my lunches later and the remaining filling will be frozen for taco later. It was a good day! Tomorrow I will can the mushrooms I just finished prepping. They are so easy to can and so useful.
