I traveled to a lot of other countries. Unfortunately despite most Americans generally having it better than other countries we also have problems worse than other countries such as drug addiction, gang violence and massive crime and killings in our largest cities. Chicago has massive murders every year, massive homelessness in our cities. Plus all the mass shooting that most other countries don’t have. Plus most other countries don’t have the amount of broken families of having no father around and lack of family values. There are countries that have a poor standard of living but they have a tight family structure and good values. The only thing that separates us is that we are a free nation and the citizens have rights. Unfortunately, the government corruption has infringed on our rights.
Yup. Blackie is right. I am an Immigrant American, and I have family still overseas... And I have been fortunate enough to travel to almost every continent in the world....Americans are spoiled and lucky. Even the poorest of the poor American has a better life than the poorest of the poor from Russia, India, Ghana, Puerto Rico (yes I know it is a US territory but Americans have no clue how the Avg Rican lives outside the tourists spots ... Go visit the locals and see for yourselves!!!)
