10foot Bigfoot in terms of capturing the feeling of a real living world with sound graphics and physics then yes it is good, I agree it's a little boring now but every time I play it it still feels like the benchmark for open world city games
I own gta and watch dogs 2. Gta gets to boring to me. The gun play in gta seem too weak and soft dont feel like you be really shooting. The guns seem to fake in gta. I like free aim i know you can trun it off but it still sucks the way the guns seem so fake
The city of Watch Dogs 2 is much more alive... the people on the phone, talking to each other, walking with their dogs, going to the bank, dating, gossiping, having a picnic, jogging or just having a good time with some friends. It is so alive and those millions of unpredictable actions made me think that the game is better.
there are many AI interaction in wd2 which is makes the game feels like its real, also i can enjoy the "walk" like normal person in wd2 which i can't get in gta v
Yes Gta V was in 2013 while Watch Dogs 2 was in 2016, but 5 years to make Gta V, imagine what Ubisoft could do if they spent 5 years on Watch Dogs 2 as supposed to 2 or less.
it in no way feels like gta at all I've played at least 18 hours and it's never once felt like gta and gta doesn't fucking own the genre of open world games idk why act like it does just because it's open world and you can steal cars doesn't make it a fucking gta clone other developers have a right to take inspiration and make it their own it doesn't make it a clone. the first game was OK a great fresh idea but broken elements and graphics downgrade but wd2 is amazing and I love gta also but I'm not a dip shit fan boy at least videogames are a form of expression and vision don't bash one game just because it has minor similarities to one game because you can honestly call 99% of games a clone then it's taking something new then drawing inspiration and making it something new a fresh and a step up from the other idea or completely new like watch dogs I remember when the gaming community wasn't complete shit where nothings good enough for them.

Definitivamente watch dogs se ve más real es muchos aspectos el problema radica en que la gente se acostumbra a lo mismo de siempre pero en esta comparación sé ve claramente que watch dogs es mejor detallado sobretodo en los choques y las personas en la calle.

Gta estuvo 6 años desarollandolo, Watch dogs 2 no, y tampoco tuvo 300 millones de presupuesto. Esta claro que ambos son buenos, cada uno con sus tematicas y con su jugabilidad. Para mi gusto watch dogs 2 es mejor en la mayoría de los aspectos, tiene muy buenos gráficos, voces al español y otros idiomas, una gran cantidad de misiones secundarias y actividades por hacer, y algo que creo que gta no supo hacer bien fue la vegetación, por su parte watch dogs 2 esta muy vivo en ese aspecto
Si es cierto watch dog 2 tiene mucho más detalle sus armas suenan más realista al iwal que es mucho más vivo que el GTA 5 aparte que puedes interactuar con los npc mientras que en GTA no puedes

Gta 5 pros: - More facilities like saloon, soda - More detailed shops (except clothing) - So well optimised, a rare case in 2013. - Calling fire, taxi services - Phone is so more detailed - Online has a huge facility system - Internet access Watch Dogs 2 pros: - Nice clothing system - Co op is great - The fact which makes the game so good is you can hack through much more things than watch dogs, gameplay is fun. - Much, much detailed AI masterpiece for a 4 year old game, which makes the game lively - Singleplayer story makes sense here
El Dogs es un juegazo en todos los aspectos, pero no esta actualizado como GTAV, la ultima vez que intente jugar online no dio resultado. Sin embargo su campaña fue una locura, sin dudas muy buena
Los dos son excelentes juegos, y aún aunque haya una gran diferencia en la fecha de lanzamiento, la comparativa es muy pareja. Esto habla de lo bien que hizo las cosas Rockstar, ya que además GTAV en general, está un poco mejor optimizado. Lo único que me gusta más en Watch Dogs (además del parkour, pero bueno, eso es otro tema y se debe a las caracteristicas del personaje), es la destrucción de vehiculos, cuando se produce un choque. No digo como sale despedido Marcus, sino como el auto se va rompiendo de manera más realista. En fin, excelentes juegos los dos. Creo que la comparación más justa sería entre GTAV y el primer Watch Dogs, que más allá de gustos, para mí es un juego excelente.
Coincido y te olvidaste el tema del combate contra la policía las tomas en watch dogs le da un toque más dinámico sumado al Parkour hace la persecución mucho más satisfactoria mientras que GTA si bien la conducción y armas está muy bueno por otro lado el combate es casi nulo y el movimiento de del personaje muy lento y tosco..cada uno tiene lo suyo y a pesar que me gusta más los watch dogs GTA V es un juego icónico que marcó una era..
sabe99 te confundes, la ciudad de los Santos es una con más personalidad y viveza, pero no tiene mejores gráficos, sin embargo lo compensa con la tremenda inmersion que le ofrece al jugador.
No compares graficos, gta v fue creado para ps3 hace varios años y watch dogs 2 fue creado no hace mucho y aun así gta v le hace frente, watch dogs 2 esta muy duro pero no llega a esos extremos

GTA 5 is much older than WD2, so even to be able to compare the two says a lot about GTA. I feel like the world overall feels smoother in GTA, textures are in a dead tie, and killing someone in WD2 actually feels wrong... in GTA killing someone was kind of funny because of their ridiculous flop and the screaming. In WD2, it feels like what you are doing is more serious. Lighting and sound effects are about the same, GTA 5 animations when running into people are clearly better, but WD2 allows you to traverse across terrain much more fluently. WD2 seems a bit glitchy in the way you collide with obstacles as well. Water in GTA is clearly more advanced, and vehicle control seems to be more realistic in GTA, especially for special vehicles like boats. Models in WD2 are slightly more polished without visible polygonal edges. Shadows are a little bit more advanced in WD2, and colors in WD2 seem to be much brighter and vibrant. Explosions in WD2 look more realistic, and trees and such look more dynamic. Overall, the two games are in a pretty close tie, with WD2 leading by a slight bit. However, I'd say GTA would have to win in the comparison, because it is more impressive that Rockstar could do almost what there is today years back.
Alpgrindman Thats exactly my opinion to. :) Altough about the glitches in WD2. The like you said gta is 3yrs old that tho including the early version. If gta should have the graphics it has in this video it's only 2yrs old ;) WD2 only has gotten some months to fix glitches and stuff, while gta have years.. WD2 Also have fixed a lot of the glitches already ;)
The world of GTAV feels empty. There's no gangs or enemies roaming around, if you want to kill bad guys you need to be in a mission. GTAV you can't listen to music on your "smartphone" lol. There's no collectables in GTAV. World feels boring.
i havent played watch dogs 2 so i cant comment on that but i know for as far as these games go the gta series generally blow the competition out the water regardless of graphics. Mafia 3 had very good cutscenes and decent graphics, they shit the bed with the quests and gameplay. quests and gameplay is what makes a good game not graphics
Did you miss the part where there was no blood spray or splatter on the ground? I knew when I made this comment there would be at least one jackass that would consider the tiny bullet holes in the body as "blood", jfc. Guy hits a car on a motorcycle doing like 75mph and skids 25 yards across the ground, zero blood. Same thing with jumping from the car. I mean it won't even let you run into people on foot at full speed and knock someone over? Wtf ubisoft, I get that you would want to avoid people when running, but when you are intentionally sprinting into someone you expect it to behave differently.
***** Did you play the first one properly? I wouldn't be surprised if rockstar started focusing more on that then GTA series. The first RDR is considered one of the best games of all time!!!. No GTA has ever been up on that level. Also rock star stated once ages ago around 2014 that its getting harder to make GTA's as they are running out of ideas. Also GTA V turned crap for people who couldn't play online once they stopped Single player dlc guns/vehicles. And the prices of some things basically force you to buy shark cards
Let's compare a brand new game with one that came out 3 years ago on an xbox 360 and PS3 before being updated for PC and the current gen consoles. That's a fair comparison.
Rahjee Brunner I don't know, I personally say GTA V looks decent for what it is, but the next GTA is probably going to be ridiculously good looking. I mean there are mods for GTA IV that make it look almost as good as GTA V, so that should tell you about how good vanilla GTA V is. Watchdogs 2 looks quite a bit better, but it should. Not only is it newer, but they didn't have to program the game for xbox 360 and ps3 before making the PC version.
gamer taboo The only area Watch Dogs 2 looks better in as far I'm concerned is character models. Other than that when it comes to lighting textures and details it doesn't really look that good.

a lot of GTA V fanboys here but im sure none of you noticed that the lights in GTA V buildings aren't as real as the lights in the buildings on WD2. GTA V still filling in whindows with white paint while WD2 has the ceiling lights in real view. light reflection is much better in WD2. In all, Gameplay and Physics and trees are better in GTA V. P.S. This is the revamped GTA V. not the first release ugly ass 2013 one.
If you guys are talking about the 'redux' mod, then i can tell you it's NOT using it. It just looks maxed but unmodded to me. Even if it's unfair to compare a 2013 game to a 2016 game GTA V still wins by far...and here are some facts : - Physics in GTA are definetly better , i mean in watch dogs if a car hits you your screen just go red and when the car hits you , you actually move like a box .. not even ragdoll , don't tell me this is 2016 physics ubisoft... - Pedestrians in GTA V are more interactive with the character , for example if you bump into them they react and sometimes they fight you , or if you drive an expensive car they stop and compliment and take photos of it , and if you press E you can actually start a dialogue with them , THAT'S A REAL OPEN WORLD GAME RIGHT THERE ! - Water has more physics to it in GTA V with all that amazing waves , and you can actually go underwater and explore the animals , sunken UFO's , tanks , planes , boats , dead bodies and many others.. - GTA V has more minigames and things to do apart from story missions like : tennis , golf , darts , get drunk at bar , street races , boat races , plane races , flight school , hunting , side missions very interesting , go to cinema and watch a film or watch tv at your house , look on the internet on the phone to find various funny sites , skydiving , arm wrestling , random events , buy new clothes , tats , customize your car , explore the ocean with a submarine and many others ... - Story in GTA it's more complex and interesting that the boring story of Watch Dogs which is exactly like Watch Dogs 1 ... and after every mission you can hang out and talk about the mission , and what you do in mission will appear on first page on the internet or talk about it on the radio .. and if you fail one mission and you retry it the dialogue between characters will be different .. that's how much effort they put in the game .. And after all GTA V it's the 4th best selling game of ALL TIME , watch on wikipedia !
Well some of those things are in watch dogs 2. Don't get me wrong GTA v is a better game but not all of those activities are actually fun. The last thing I want to do in GTA v is play tennis, darts, arm wrestle, or do yoga. Watch dogs 2 you can interact with pedestrians and hear about what you did on the news just like GTA v. The pedestrian interaction is actually better in watch dogs 2. Watch dogs 2's world is one of the most alive feeling open worlds I have ever played. This is coming from a huge GTA fan. If they would just fix the horrible physics, driving, and shit music in watch dogs it would be even better. Watch dogs 2 was a huge step in the right direction and I hope they continue to improve on the watch dogs series.
