Effectively allowing them to get away with murder. Kentucky DA declined to prosecute Brianna Taylor's killers. Maybe now things are finally beginning to change.

Defense lawyers almost always advise the accused NOT to take the stand in their own defense. It practically never helps your case only solidifies it with the jury. But this woman is literally so stupid I can't imagine how it would possibly make things any worse for her. But in a "self defense" case, that one word "PURSUED" - is the kiss of death to a self defense case i.e. "you're going to jail for a term of pretty much forever".
