AVOID MAKING THESE MISTAKES WHEN PRESENTING LOGOS TO CLIENTS. When making a logo for a client or business, it's important to consider the versatility of the logo. Watch me as I attempt to make a logo for a school club while sharing some of my logo design tips for 2020.
I redesigned this school club logo for an unpaid client...my sister. I did the work for free of course and to improve my own graphic design skills. These logo design tips are some I've picked up from courses I've taken and through personal business experience. These are things you should consider when designing a logo. While my design skills are still a work in progress, I've decided to share my own logo design process to continue my transparency on my business journey. This is a similar process I would use when designing for businesses. Feel free to let me know which design was your favorite :)
The logos were designed on Adobe Illustrator. There are definitely shortcuts to some of the processes I went through but bear with me 😅

I appreciate it! It's definitely taken me some time to get used to the software, so don't be fooled haha. There's a lot to learn and I'm still working on fluency there but practicing has really helped me :) I'm glad you enjoyed this one!

I like the one on the right more -- I think it's because I just don't really like pseudo-cursive fonts vs. cleaner fonts.

Fair enough! Finding a good cursive font can definitely be difficult. I see why you prefer the one on the right!

I love how these turned out! I've been working with a designer for the novel of my cover and it's great to have options but you're so right that too many are overwhelming ! It was really cool to watch your work flow :)

Also - favorite was left. I liked the top left the most. Those contrast colors really pop!

@@InnerCoreAri Aw thanks Ari! That makes me happy. It's definitely something that I find enjoyable and given that I have more free time now, I've been trying to experiment with different mediums. I'd say I feel most comfortable with a pencil and paper but we're working on changing that. Thanks for watching along. They actually went with the left logo as well ;)
