Hi Brittany, It is so good to see you again! Regarding the kids' interruptions, cherish it now, it won't last forever. My son (23) moved out last year and I miss him so much! His childhood went by in the blink of an eye! Your process of sewing in 30 is sew inspiring for those with tight schedules!
This is an EXCELLENT idea, and I like the way you interact with the babies while sewing 😊. I always put off sewing or doing other projects, because I always think that I need a LOT of time. Thanks Brittany.
Love how you break up your sewing. I just started doing that. I just am learning to FIT pants on me. Doing a muslin for the first time. Very challenging for me being 76. Lol.. hoping the pants turn out. Thank you for doing these videos for us.❤️❤️❤️ Brittany…loved the finished result. You look so cute. I especially love the tie in the front..nice job
I like the idea of sewing in 30min batches. If left to my own devices i can sew from 8 till 8 and completely forget about everything else. I'll try that from now on.
I started doing 30 minutes and now I'm doing an hour now. I like to put my garment in my dressform so I can see my progression and it motivates me. Welcome back, Brittany. We miss you!!
Hey Britt....thanks for sharing this...for some reason I thought you did a similar paperbag style type skirt a little while ago....I made that one and love it. But, what I really wanted to say too is that I know you've been talking about 30 minutes of sewing at a time for a while, but last night it really hit me....it just makes sense for me. I think I need to set my timer too.... I'm ready to try it this way! 😊
I have b even following you a while it felt so good to see you call my home town Columbus a fort Benning I well be visiting you all store soon u are doing a great job
Thanks for sharing. Love the special guests appearances. It’s amazing that when asked most kids want to “famous” when they grow up 🤣🤣. I really like the hack of cutting and sewing the ties on instead of the carrier. I will have to keep that in my back pocket for future bottoms projects.😊
Love the pants and fabric looks gorgeous. Such a good idea sewing in 30min intervals. I'm going to definitely give that a try. Because sometimes l just feel so overwhelmed. Thanks. I have missed your videos.
I sew my projects in a similar way but in 1-hour increments throughout the day. As a beginner, I can't really get too much done in 30-minutes but hopefully as my skills improve, I'll be able to do it at some point in the future. Lastly, love your Oliso Iron. I have that same one in yellow and I'm always unplugging it when I'm not using it for the same reasons that your husband unplugs yours. 😁
I just bought that same sewing machine and am completely so excited about it!!! Love your videos and cannot wait to start looking into making an outfit like you. Thank you for sharing with us.
Hello and thanks for the video! I love setting a timer to get things done. It really helps me to focus on the task. I love the fabric and the pattern. I'll have to pick it up at the next pattern sale. Blessings
Just entered the world of “serger”. Your videos are awesome. Wondering exactly what stitch you are using to first finish your fabric edges and second what type of thread used so it doesn’t press through with an imprint on the fashion side when pressed. Going out to pick up the pattern so I can follow your process. Also the fabric drape was spot on. Will be ordering today! Thank you and keep smiling at those kiddos.
Hello I love your 30 min sewing, I have been also doing the same thing, because sometimes I don't feel like sewing so the 30 min helps me. I also would like to know what kind of iron you have, just love it.
I'm sorry, totally off subject, but your hair is alway so cute! I was thinking what I should do is instead of setting a timer for 30 minutes, I should set it as a stop watch, and time how long it is until I get interrupted, lol.
