All 2023 CVO Street Glides got recalled due to aerodynamic issues. HD is adding a weight ballast with a Mickey Mouse strap and changing the engine calibration to probably reduce top speed. What was done to correct this for 2024? That's the question I would have asked, but instead these guys ask about dorky handlebar upgrades and pointless extended saddlebags.

Yeah, I think 100mph governor on CVOs(RG & SG)😖, CVO-ST 120mph. Sucks ! I think it was more of a SG CVO issue, but sounds like they put a gov on both @ 100mph. I would also like to really know what the issue is/was. I've heard RDRS related rumors also?

Harley has FLOODED the market with the 2023 CVO’s now with a value of tops $28,000. Now that Harley is leasing bikes willfurther tank the resale value of Harley’s. They have destroyed the market. 3-8k off msrp 2023 CVO’s. Nobody can get out of the 25% interest rate Harley charging to finance. Rough rough times ahead for Harley’s.

Thank you for a really informative video, well shot. As I'm seriously considering one of these new 2024 models some of this info was good to know and at times it is the smallest of things such are there lighted switch blocks for the standard models coming in the P&A catalogue, maybe? The short cuts on the new switch blocks as they are quite tall/large, etc. This video lets you feel as close as possible to being there on the day without being invited. Looking forward to your impressions from the 117ci test ride as your ST test ride was informative and helps, if one is seriously thinking about placing a deposit on one, when we are not going to see them here in Australia for a while yet.

Love this. This answered some questions I had the dealer didn’t know. I was considering getting the basic Road Glide and putting in a crate engine. Luckily you asked and the question that the crate engines are not compatible with the 2024s.

Good vid, and I got more out of the practical rider elements than the local dealer. Salesperson barely knew anything about the new bikes and even could not remember the color names. I asked about the nav and if GPX files could be used (say from Basecamp etc), RDSS/Traction, Hill Assist, Aux wiring for heated gear etc. and basically got blank stares or "check the web site". I was surprised for such a big launch and with all the changes my dealer was not up to speed.

Good video... I think HD is heading in the right direction with their new engine design even though I think the displacement is getting out of hand. Any hoot, if they have eliminated the sumping nonsense and overheating issues, then kudos to them.

Thinking about getting the new road glide next month. Trading in my 22 Electra glide standard. I actually like the base color billard gray with chrome on both the road glide and street glide. Can’t beat the new prices for what comes with the bike!

Harley-Davidson is pricing the new riders out of purchasing Harley’s, The road glides looks like a Indian challenger, the horn location looks like a after thought like where should we put it so let’s move it in front of the shifter, The new technology is too much, Motorcyclists just want to ride a dependable bike with out all the fluff, and let’s face it they shave weight on the st cvo but who’s going to track it or race it for $43000.00 Oh and no vvt except on the $44499.00 models and heated grips and don’t forget those prices are without taxes

John nobody mentioned an integrated fan. When they went over the cooling section no fan was mentioned just the cooling of the heads. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe they also incorporated a fan. Please let me know. Thanks John great video brother!

I don't understand why they didn't have that new fuel cap opening towards the front instead of towards the rider. It would make for way more room for refueling. Can you unbolt it and turn it around?

Screw liquid cooled why would Harley get rid of air cooled. Huge huge failure in my opinion. Most performance parts requires you to remove the liquid cooled heads lol. Junk that’s why he hesitated on saying it more $ out of the consumers pocket to support the epa.

Bla Bla, Now making bikes with more and more HP/Torque and speed. Can't ya see the cops popping these guys who can afford these tickets like water. Even more higher expensive bikes Harley won't be selling. Not in this Economy!. Harley going the wrong way again!!. Even the car companies have mass reduced their manufacturing of hot rod muscle cars, like the Challenger for instance, Hell cats and the like. They know they screwed up, and now can't sell em. The same will go for Harley again, The American public can barley afford if at all a small crap car these days!. Nobody cares about a racing fake baggers either. And Don't make a good affordable bike anymore. Sorry to say, But I see Harley going Bankrupt in a few years.. I've owned 6 new Harleys in the last 10 years, and now a new 22 tri- glide which I love, but this stuff is gone to ridiculous!.

For me as I am watching all that event from Europe and unfortunately unable to have honour to be in that kind of event, I am totally envious for that , but really good to see how HD has done so big development this year. Also beside technical high jump taking down prices(at least baggers prices). Really smart and in my opinion, truly pleasant is to present brand's products to the public through brand ambassadors, real fans of Harley Davidson motorcycles, who like to develop their bikes and share their positive addiction to public. Applause to Jochen Zeitz. In my opinion there will be very positive news in the future. Indian Roadmaster/sportbike rider's opinion, ridden motorcycles for 35yrs, from 12 yrs age. Good luck, nothing else to say.

I agree with you the economy has been trash for a few years now. Many, many have felt the pain. It could get better or get worse depending on upcoming events. If it gets worse, everyone, everywhere will feel it but I have a strong feeling HD Corporate will survive. They will have to change things up like all other companies but will continue making great motorcycles. Plus the used motorcycle inventory will help the brand continue on down the road.

There was some nice information in this video. The one thing that stood out as far as negative to me was their comment on inverted forks. I get the point of the keeping the cost down, but to say your are saving it for the CVO was bad. Sure they updated the suspension, but it still not as good as inverted. That to me was the one negative thing overall they did to the updated touring models. If you wanted keep something for the CVO models just offer more premium internals.
