Nice in depth needs for a bar install on a sporty; when I did this, the pin disconnect and internally wiring the t-bars were the biggest headache. Looking back, I am not sure I would have screwed with it on my own. Remember to tightly wrap those disconnected pins as tightly as possible before running them through. After changing bikes and bars over the years I’d highly suggest riser and bar combo vs straight tbars. Only if you are on the fence between the two.

i deleted all the handlebar wires when i made my new wiring harness. re used the stock cables and brake line by re routing them and bending the brake line hard section to make it longer. bought some 12" T bars on ebay for about $80 shipping included, and bang i had the same set up for the cost of the bars plus some beer and an evening of my time. its possible to do this on a budget

Man l really want some T-bars on my 1200 Custom. The price of the bars ain't bad, it's just everything else adds up quick. I'd want a fairing too but l'd have to get it painted to match my bike. Lol only money.

Spot on about everything adding up quickly. I bought the bars first and thought I would slowly collect the parts.... Yeah right, I couldn't wait to get them on.
