Watch This Before You Charge Metabo HPT Multivolt Batteries! Today we show the #verycoolgang what to expect when charging up Metabo HPT Multivolt batteries!
My multi Volt 36 18 volt baterrie was bought in jan 22 and was flashing 2 of the outside green lights center 2 dead, I called Metabo, found out their warrentie is 3 years, they said it was bad, and in 1 day I received my new batteries, you guys should take one apart and see if you can fix it I can't seem to figure out what if anything to ndo?? Also, my sawsall was intermidiatly shut down, they are sending me a shipping label, will repair it and ship it back!! An awesome tool and awesome warranty!!
I just wished more people would go buy Metabo tools and so they could be developing far more tools and be in more stores with more of their products…. Sucks when I got to Menards or even Lowe’s and you can my get much of their products in store that day. But man they sure do work great, charge quick and I must say unlike Dewalt and many others, the batteries fit very snug on every tool… no wiggle wiggle feeling
Bringing the heat with the Green Machine, love it! Charging an 8 ah battery in less than an hour = less batteries to buy. Great Video Nick. Can't wait to see the Hammerdrill in action.
You da man Nick. Hey, so When showing batteries charging it would be nice to have a faster fast forward on the video with just a still shot of the unit with the time running. Not a big deal, just thought I would tell you what I thought of the video. Other wise, thank you for all the efforts of VCG for the awesome videos and fan appreciation.
Good video Nick, great camera skills and production value! If this was a science channel you would be Bill Nye and Vince would be Beakman! Honestly that's a compliment, it's way better than Mr.Wizard. Even a costume change, you went from "hip dad on a Sunday" to "Fred Durst in shop class" in a relatively seamless time lapse. Cool and well versed, I look forward to more of these tech updates with Nick. VCG life rocks the shop and the jobsite!!
@@nicholascampbell90 with cool videos like that you make it easy to enjoy Nick. Really great stuff, I like your approach, it's very educational and professional. It's neat to get the hype from Vince and the education from you my man.
I like what HiKoki is doing. Mean green machine. I’m interested what the gang thinks when they start hearing the prices. Their multivolt ain’t priced like JMVA Creeper Van Rolling discounted tool barn. It’s pricey.
I feel like they'll run a sale at some point and that's when I would go for one. I own the Hitachi framing nailer and love it works flawless no ramp up time just a little bulky that's the only thing to nitpick. Looking to get more from their line......
Top Tools they will always run sales. That are having them now. $619 for the mitre saw. They are including the wall adapter. Which happens to be included in this kit anyway. No batteries.
Richard Garner no buddy. I have thousands invested into DeWalt over the last 8 years. I’m not starting all over. Just saw this deal for $139 and jumped in it. Give it a try. If it fails I’ll trash it like all china tools get treated.
The charger says 14.4-18 volt Is it charging at 18 volt? If so how are they getting 36 volt out of battery? I have a multi volt battery in front of me with a meter on and it reads 19.5 volts fully charged. Where do they get 36 volts??
What’s with the caption? Watch this before you charge metabo batteries, why? It has nothing to do with that it just goes after metabo’s claim of a fully charged battery in 52 mins. And it didn’t really need that long showing a battery charge….
Why did I have to watch this video before I charged my battery!!! Love you guys but the click bait titles make me stay away from your videos sometimes. Don’t be Scotty
@@MrShinta786 Hey Mani! My name is Mantaro Iwasaki and I'm full japanese. I live in Germany. Are you subscribed to VCG as well? I just subscribed recently as I found their content amazing!
i dont fully understand why metabo bought hitachi and still looks exactly the same as the old impact hitachi, everything whats the point is it some sort of marketing thing etc, cause i like hitachi's stuff but is it even truley hitachi any more??!!
Some investment company bought both Metabo and the power tools off Hitachi. I don't know if Hitachi has anything to do with the power tools or what. The name change is to show its still Hitachi tools, Hitachi full name is Hitachi hikoki (pronounced ho-key) the hikoki is part of the founders name, anyway for the USA hikoki didn't work well as people called it hokey pokey, so for the USA or north American market it's called metabo-HPT rest of the world it's called hikoki. So it's more like 2 name changes. *shrug* Metabo name is staying the same, Hitachi wanted the name change. That's from everything I've seen over videos, the tool show video, talking about the name change, on here first vcg channel, I think. Then marketing stuff and in their new catalog for 2019 2020
Their 36v battery is "also" an 18v battery, which this charger supports. Note that this battery will also power any of their 18v tools without making them run at twice the speed or whatever ... there's a circuit board that throttles down the voltage while delivering 8aH to the 18v tools.
