Being an avid horse lover and former breeder I am blown away by the accuracy of the farrier’s expertise when it comes to having such a large group of horses to work on. It appears that every individual horse has the same angulation of hoof, and they all are stepping and moving equally on track. As many of our horse owners know that proper shoeing keeps a horses feet and legs sound. I have to commend the excellent job as I see it here.

wow I'm for the farrier trimming and shoeing to the individual horse and how it moves not to the horses around it. Thought the white horses was trimmed very short.

Personally I have found going barefoot has helped all four of my horses entire conformation, I believe some of the police horses are now going barefoot too.

Absolutely 💯. I re-watched this to look for what happened there. I think with my aging eyes, when zoomed in, you can see the first of the gun carriage's many heavy wheels ran over that grate. Others managed to staddle over the grate. That could have ended up with multiple, severely serious injuries to soldiers, horses, general public etc. Unbelievably well spotted by the field officer. He saved a serious, likely catastrophe indeed.

@@judyc9380 yes indeed. Goodness imagine just how many things police have to do to prepare for anything and everything safety both prior *AND* during, these huge Royal pageantry events. Police are the heroes here also. What an event to plan for and execute on the day. Impressively done as always by the Brits.

Think you find the white horse is being ridden by a high ranking officer, who is making sure everything goes smoothly with the horses and riders for the dress rehearsal ready for the trooping of the colour.. looked like a drain cover was dislodged and he cantered ahead to make sure no injuries were obtained by the horses. The police officer made sure it was made safe once again. 😊

I'm surprised by the empty bleachers. Even though this is just a rehearsal and they aren't in parade uniform, it's still an impressive sight, and I would think a lot of people would want to see it (especially if they couldn't go to the actual Trooping of the Colour).

The man on the white horse needs to keep his heels down as do some of the other men. Prince William was a perfect example of keeping your heels down while riding.

My thoughts. I'm in Texas. I've had a horse explode, not the occasional crow hopping tantrum but slow trot to full fledged saddle bronc in about two seconds. To me, that's an explosion. What was the explosion? I liked seeing the queen riding side saddle. That's horsemanship.

Once again there is no content to match the heading of watching a horse that explodes with power. At around 4 min there is a white horse that comes past faster than the other horses but absolutely nothing to match an explosion of power.
