The one thing every new player needs to know. Hold down E when harvesting leaves or wood, then tap Q. Close Q if needed but you will be auto harvesting until you hit E again. No more spam tapping E at the start.

In a majority of cases, that is the ideal way to play. But for some situations and some setups, a backup somewhere can cause the whole system to shut down. You just have to make sure you have failsafes if you're in that situation.
I have 60 hours, and I learnt about stamps creating a pillar of light, the debuild box trick and the broken geometry of beams. I will contribute: - Always Be Automating - Plan factories around logistics before outputs i.e. "I have access to iron, copper, water and caterium in this area, what can I automate out of that?" rather than "I need to automate computers, where should I build that?"
