That's amazing!!! Wishing you safe and rejuvenated trip. 💜✈️ 😊 Here's to a brighter 2024 ahead-may it bring new opportunities and a fresh start for you as well! ✨🤞

I spent 5 years at a private equity fintech. Worked from a senior analyst to Vice President. Got laid off bc a product I created wasn’t being sold well by Sales. It’s been a month and I haven’t even fixed my resume. It’s going to be a long shot getting back to Goldman Sachs (where I was before) or any legit shop for the matter. Luckily I have a decent run way but the idea of taking a filler job is killing me.
Oh man, I am so sorry that happened...I totally feel you on the filler jobs. I don't want to accept any job or else it'll look like I'm job hopping if that place doesn't work out. At the same time, I'm wasting my days not progressing career wise and employment insurance doesn't last forever. 😅 Thank you for watching and sharing your story. I have a feeling you'll be fine. You got this!! 😊💜✨
There is actual ptsd from burnout and toxic workplaces. How are you searching for jobs and are you using AI to get out apps? What jobs do you really want? I find job apps take so longer and I’m like what’s even the point. It’s so discouraging. I don’t want to do nothing but it feels like an uphill battle but I need a job practically, can’t nor do I want to do nothing and need some structure and steady income.
Using AI for the job search is actually so smart!! I've never thought of that! 😊 I want to work a job that isn't stressful and that makes me happy... most of the time those jobs don't pay well. Ideally, I would love to get monetized in order to supplement for my income! 😅 Thank you for asking and watching the video. 💜✨
The Why is important on your journey. Without the "Why" you lose focus and purpose. You will have good days, you'll have bad day but never give up. Great video for those who are in that situation.
I was searching for a job for like 8 months last time I commented to your video and now I've been accepted to a program which is 2.5 months of course and then you are starting for a job. I still remember how hard it's been and "will I ever find a job again" mindset. My dad always said everything will be alright, and it did. I hope to see you find the job you've been looking for maybe you can get certificates to increase your chances. Which I didn't do because I wasn't sure about what I will be expertise. A clear goal in mind could help a lot. Hope you do well,,
Congrats on your new role! I'm truly so happy for you!! 😊💜 What I'm struggling with more is "will this place f*ck me over like my last job" mindset. 😭 I think I need to keep remembering what your dad said about how everything will be alright. 🤞✨ Thank you for your advice/story and I hope you continue to share it with other people who have expressed their struggles in the job search across my channel. Good luck in your new role. You're going to do great. 💕
@@TechSav18 Thank you for your good wishes! For the last 3-4 weeks I've been studying and right now I'm working with passion with this new role. Nearly to the point that I think I got laid off that turned out to be good for me. I lost time in the meantime but whatever... For the thing that bothers you, all the companies are just buying you to work for them as hard as you can, so I don't know if there is any solution to that other than doing a thing that you love. -_- In the end we all work for money sooo 🙃 idk this world is corrupted but this is for another days topic 😅
@@user-wh9sn Startups are nightmares tbh lol most of them don't even do well so be mindful when accepting any offers from them 😅 They are great for interview practicing tho LOL
Tech is going to approve of you less and less as you age. Seek other non tech opportunities to gain business domain experience and then employ your tech knowledge to write apps and api's relative to that domain knowledge to supplement your non tech income.
@TechSav18 Tech has long practiced racial, gender and age discrimination. Last year over 400,00 Optional Training Visas also call the F-1 visa were issued to foreign students graduating college. Every one is being pushed down the ladder right now with 5-7 years of experience taking 1-3 years required jobs. Young American citizens like your self are being disadvantaged. Get out while you are young and have lots of time to recover and gain skills in less volatile careers.
@@tex346 I'm not American but I understand what you are saying! I'm hoping and praying that my next opportunity isn't in tech. I like observing it from afar but I've realized that I don't like being apart of it. 😕 Thank you for sharing your opinion and watching my video! 💜✨😊
