I mean YT Shorts are really only good if you're watching the shorts from people you already watch or you already have the algorithm tuned to your tastes. I reckon TikTok is kind of the same, but also even better for bumping into random content outside of your comfort zone.

Reels have the best AND the worst videos. RU-vid is the most generic to some degree but was relatively consistent. TikTok had some great ones, but also had some VERY controversial rabbit holes.
