I would still laugh at the fact that in the film they joked that from behind he looks like a child or a person with a disproportionate head.

To me I think this movie redeemed Ugly Sonic

Clearly, Disney and the Lonely Island spared no expense in having cameos and references to third party properties too. Some examples include Hasbro, DreamWorks, and even Nickelodeon!

I think they were trying to draw attention to what happened to the actor and how tragic it was, but I understand why people find it disrespectful.

It was very unintentional. Sweet Pete is supposed to be the tragic villain because his life as a child actor was tragic.

@@theawesomeman9821 true, all these studios are each other's competition they wouldn't just agree to have their characters and properties all be in a movie together without some sort of agreement. For example when they made who framed Roger rabbit Warner Brothers only agreed to work with Disney under the conditions that both of there respected cartoon characters get equal screen time. Like when Donald Duck vs. Daffy Duck in a piano 🎹 battle both ducks appeared on screen at the same time, both had equal amount of dialog, the fight had no Victor, and they both left at the same time. The same thing happened later when Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny were on screen together at the same time interacting and they both left at the same time. I'm still surprised that randy marsh from South park made a cameo! 🤯

@@westerfrost3701 *spoilers* for those who haven’t watched this video or the movie yet! I don’t really like movies or shows with mixed mediums, especially if done incorrectly. Dale’s 3D image was lacking, flat and somehow had worse graphics than the Chipmunk’s first movie. The polar bear’s face was constantly morphing to the point of being disproportionate. The 2D animations were janky, too fast and felt like they weren’t part of the environment. Also, most of the “2D” animated characters were just 3D models with 2D line work and cell shading. Then most of the 3D models looked uglier than the uncanny valley models. It reminded of the gross realistic graphics they used in the new Pokémon movie. There was also the plot and choice in characters. Like, when I heard the name Sweet Pete, I thought Pete from Goof Troop/The Goofy Movies, not Peter Pan. Pete is already known for being a good, money grubbing villain. Peter Pan was probably the worst character choice especially with the whole washed up child actor backstory. That in itself is a problem. He had no good qualities, wasn’t likeable or redeemable in any way even when given the chance. On the topic of Peter Pan, why did he grow up but the Lost Boy at the con didn’t? They obviously did it for the bit, and it wasn’t even a good bit nor did it follow the movie’s own world rules. Dale also had 2 near death scenes. We all know cartoons can’t “die” by cartoon bullets so I’m not even sure why they would do that 5 minutes from the ending. I mean, the bullet literally just nicked him. There was no reason to do that at all. The plot is literally about reboots and the movie is a reboot, opening a whole can of “They were actually caught and forced to do a reboot” theory. They didn’t include anything about the Rescue Rangers cameo in Ducktales, or the newest Chip and Dale show and acted like they don’t exist just so they could have the “everyone’s back together” ending that Scooby-Doo movies use in every friggin movie. It’s dumb!
