There's a question how drunk she was when knocked up. So in an episode about alcohol it had to come up. She had a fat day and felt insecure and she had drank wine coolers and he took advantage of her. They weren't in a relationship. She asked about protection and he told her to trust him. Every so often her urge to bash him comes back around.
Grant is part of the Warblers, the rival glee club that Kurt & Blaine are in in this episode, and is introduced in the third season as the main antagonist, Melissa is one of the new kids in season 4 & 5 of “our” glee club ☺️
I think this is a fairly solid example of Glee you jumped into. A pretty good episode lol. This was really fun to revisit alongside your reaction. Ok finally I'm going to bed ;)
i loved this! the editing, your reaction and comments, amazing! sad you won't be reacting to more glee ahah a good grant gustin episode is 3x11 "Michael"
Context for your questions if you want: Finn and Kurt are step-brothers Puck got Quinn pregnant, so he's at fault for what pregnancy did to her body Kurt and Blaine go to a different school but Kurt used to go to McKinley High with everyone else, he met Blaine when he was supposed to spy on the Dalton glee club (which Grant Gustin is later part of) but ended up later transferring to Dalton Emma (the counsellor) has OCD that's why she eats with plastic gloves Grant Gustin is in s3-5, Melissa Benoist is in seaons 4 and 5
I've seen the show, one of my favourites as well. Over a year ago I did something i called "Character review" about the show. So, I can't react to it, sorry. Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-85Yv9kCQlLk.html
This was definitely one of the most fun episodes of the series. So apparently this was written because a lot of the young cast were coming to set hung over/still drunk at the time. I remember the Blaine story was controversial at the time for feeling biphobic. Which glee was, this episode was just one example. The Quarterback was one of the strongest episodes of the series but was very emotionally raw. I would imagine that it was a difficult episode all around for everyone that was involved in it. I’m glad you went with one of the more upbeat episodes.
From your video I think it was the "alcohol is bad" episode of Glee. This episode probably felt very preachy. Yeah, shows often have to drag a single or two matching topics through an entire episode which makes sense. But it also can make an episode feel fake. I couldn't watch one single episode of Glee without feeling embarrassed and though I love music, I'm totally not into the Glee cast singing/dancing of/to popular songs trope. Fun video again, I also had to laugh because many scence, twists and lines were totally absurd. 😁
blame it on the alcohol is the best rated episode?????? that episode?????? whoever rates these deserves jail i can name like 20 eps better than this one lmao. Like all the prom episodes for starters.
@@paigemprice i have only half watched the quarterback ep once YEARS after it was out, and i still couldn’t finish it. That ep is just not meant to be rated, just experienced, grieve it, and reminisce on it. I wouldn’t put it on any scale lmao. Is too personal (and also painful).
