i saw a tweet saying that Louis' attitude is totally changed and he looks so small during the interview part compared to season 1 where he had this super confident and charming persona, before the truth about Armand was revealed

So glad you reacted to it! Just a few things about where I think we’re headed next season. The blond haired guy is Santiago. As you probably already know, just based on your watch from the movie, he’s basically Armand’s right hand and the one that’s the face of all of the theater productions. Also, the vampire you saw is probably a revenant, a zombie like vampire that attack aimlessly. They weren’t referenced in the film so I think that’s probably why it’s unfamiliar. As for Armand, the running theory some people have is that, now that he has revealed himself to Daniel he will add a new perspective to this interview. All the while trying to manage Louis spiraling since the closer and closer he gets to Claudia’s death the more difficult and challenging things will become for him. But also, Armand and Daniel, without giving too much a way from the books, are more fond of each other than Daniel probably remembers and I think this will be another narrative that begins to unravel as we go through the season. Hope this helps and I can’t wait to watch your reactions when the season premieres!

Okay, okay. Thats gonna be interesting. Im still not sure if Armand is friend or foe. Like, does he think he's doing things for Louis's well-being or to control Louis. Ooh, and if we get to see a Daniel-Armand situationship. I'm here for it!

@@shalayahomebodytv yeah I think some people are split on Armand’s intentions but I think he’s trying to protect Louis from himself. He knows walking back through Claudia’s death is going to be very difficult for him and that’s why he’s now decided to become more of an active participant in the remainder of this interview. I think Armand was serious when he said Daniel was chronicling a suicide, because he knows it may be Louis contemplating his own

The voices in the background is Louis's and Armand's The scene where Louis and Claudia are running is them going through an air raid during their travel across Europe. There have been hints that we are going to see a fair amount of Lestat in s2.

The woman with the red hair is Madeleine (book accurate long red hair), she plays an integral part in Claudia's story.

Yay! I thought that was her! I hope we get to see more of her than we did in the film. I still feel bad for her, poor lady dying on her turning day, lol. Couldn't even get a night as a vampire

P.S You are on the top 5 of my list of reactors i cant wait to see react to the show! I love your videos and specifically how youre not afraid to say exactly what you think, even if it might offend some specific fans. I enjoyed this teaser and am really excited for season two. While I do want to see more of Lestat, the first book, in which season two covers the second half of, is Louis’ and Claudia’s story. The focus should remain on them. I say this because as the entire book series is set to be adapted, Lestat’s time is coming soon.

I expect it to mostly be Louis and Claudia, but I hope they save like the last two episodes to maybe set the stage for The Vampire Lestat that I'm sure they'll be doing in s3. That, plus the iconic Zombie Lestat playing the piano scene. I need that, too 😆

The interview part in the trailer has me tense because I don't know if I should be feeling sad or scared. As for Claudia I believe she asked about Lestat to get a read on if the coven loves or hates Lestat. Also I holding off on my opinion of the actress til I see more but I do miss Bailey. Lastly the blonde guy of the coven is Santiago. The one in the film that kept messing with Louis. Anyway I'm so glad your back.

I had the opposite reaction to Claudia's accent. Bailey's accent sounded very forced, it was very obvious that she was putting on an accent, and according to people from New Orleans what she did was a stereotyped take and nothing like the real Louisiana accent. I can't comment on the authenticity of the new Claudia actor's accent but at least it sounded natural.

Hey, Shalaya! There's a photo going around of Lestat looking resplendent in a red cloak, sitting in a horse-drawn carriage. I think maybe they're going into the "Vampire Lestat" book, as well as the 2nd half of "Interview". Also, before the strike I saw still pictures of the set in Prague (the stand-in for Paris -- guess it's a cheaper shoot). One young actor was identified only by the name "Nicki". Nicki??? Lestat's first boyfriend who went crazy and killed himself after Lestat's maker Magnus killed himself but before Louis, who wanted to kill himself...Whoo! Think Mr. Lioncourt has a type?

Welcome back Shalaya! You were missed!! I'm excited for the new season. With the first one, I had reservations because I am a fan of the book (and that Queen of the Damned movie was God Awful even with Aaliyah as Akasha). I wasn't sure about the changes for the series sake but it all made sense and I enjoyed it that much more. With that being said, I have high hopes for the second season and how it is handled. If they begin to touch on The Vampire Lestat and his background to lay groundwork for future seasons.....that would be *chefs kiss* Just keep whoever was involved with the Mayfair Witches debacle far far away from this project.

And I have heard they might be putting some of The Vampire Lestat in, which would be a perfect way to get us amped for s3. Not me getting excited just talking about it. 2024 can't come fast enough, lol

I am happy to see the show back but I did have some concerns about the aesthetic. It seems a bit grungier but then it makes sense because Europe would be coming out of the privations or war. I think I'm going to miss the OG time periods for the theatre de vampires. Can't comment on Delainey until later but I hope to see Sam too. I think that since the reveal of Armand there's definitely some layers of manipulation going on. Louis was confused about stuff he should have been crystal clear about last season - and mesmerising is Armand"s wheelhouse.

I did like the original time period. Im a sucker for classic Paris, lol. It'll be interesting seeing the trope in this time period, though. I'm interested to see how they adapted the plays. I wonder if they'll add any history events into it, too.

I thought the same thing about that look that Armand was giving Louis but somebody on Tumblr said I was reading too much into it lol It’s sus tho because thanks to Daniel, Louis’s whole story has just been called into question and he probably knows Armand has something to do with it. That’s my guess at least 🤷🏽‍♀️

No spoilers, but we will for sure be seeing Sam/Lestat. He does have his own journey in the book, that you dont actually find out happened till book 3. But im almost positive seeing as he was not nearly as damadged as he was in the book, we'll be getting at least some of that in this next Season. As well as flashbacks from both Louis and Armand, of Lestat. Now how much or how little, who knows. And its still all just guessing and deductive reasoning, based on set pictures and footage of Sam as Lestat. Personally, I think we'll be getting more Lestat then even i think. And i already know i wont be mad at it, if that does happen 😅 What still throws me though, is how many people are all like 😳 about how drastically different the energy, and dynamic looks between Louis & Armand. In the current day interview. Like the balance of control and dominance has drastically shifted. And im sitting here like 🤔😑 Ive been making posts, and comments, etc. All over the place about it since day one, that how its looking now, is how its been since the 1st episode of S1. People just werent paying attention. And now everyones so shocked. Its hitting the same as all the people who were all shocked and outraged at Lestats abuse in Ep5. Like "whaAaAt Lestat is abusive" when he had been abusive since literally day 1. It has that same energy. Its wild to me But phew, i cannot wait for this next season. Its honestly gonna absolutely destroy us all! If you even remotely love any of these characters at all, you're gonna be in a hellofalotta pain 😅

I honestly think he did a good job of showing us the facade. Lots of yall called it, though. I didn't see it. But when u look back, you're right, there were signs. As for lestat, I think we all just wanted him to be better. I personally didn't think he would take his cruelty out on Louis that bad.

@shalayahomebodytv HI 👋 ☺️ And very true, they were basically putting on a play, for both Daniel and the us (the audience), I could see through it for sure. But then again I've been obsessed with these books and these characters for most of my life. And I definitely was looking for the real Armand, inside his Rashid suit. So you can definitely see it in S1, but you do have to be really looking. And I think you're totally right about Lestat, and most hoping he'd be better, do better. The Lestat from book 1, is vastly different then the rest of the books. He was pretty bad. Not quite as bad as ep5, but funny enough they actually calmed him down and softened him up in the series vs the 1st book. Minus ep5 of course. So I definitely get what you mean, and agree for sure 👌

I feel like I need to see more clips of her first. I hope they don't try to flip her character personality. I saw 2024 and screamed internally. I'm not sure if they finished everything or if they're gonna be affected by the writers' strike.

@@shalayahomebodytv I saw that the script was completed before the strike and filming had already started when the strike did. It almost feels like a new actress playing the roll of Claudia. I'm not sure if it's the makeup, the accent, or a new actress. I hope it's January 2024.

I was expecting this season to be some type of issue between Louis, Armand and a vengeful, jealous Lestat. But it doesn't look like that's gonna be the case.

Yay, your back !! Did Louis lose weight ? I wondered if he stopped drinking the blood again. Armand is now wearing white and staring at Louis from across the table. It looks like he is in control, and not Louis. Louis looks sad and his body language is off. Something is not right and I can’t wait to find out. Any thoughts ?

A few mainly about Armands intentions. Like, is he looking out for Louis or manipulating him? Does Louis look bad because he's recounting the story, or is something more sinister happening? Hes definitely less vibrant than when he started. He looks frail. Not sure about anything yet though
